  1. Mine hits 15psi but pretty stable at 14psi, made 308rwkw on a stinking hot day in January. Has been like this for 3yrs almost. The graph for the Dyno sees boost drop off at about 4250rpm but I don't like hammering the revs anyway, much prefer the early power.

  3. Boss messaged me at 3.10 asking where I was, told him I didn't get paid for 2 hours last week so not doing 40h this week so I'm starting 2 hours later. He replied 'have a sook' I replied 'f*ck ya, I'm not an Indian who works for nothing'

  4. Spoke to John from Precision Turbos in Wetherill Park, he reckons I'll lose no more than 20hp but will spool a little better. He quoted $500 to supply and machine a second hand .5 cover, ceramic coat the rear housing and manifold and put the turbo together. Should save me almost 1K as PW air box, battery relocation and hotside piping would have been around the 1.5K mark, plus all the labour I will now save as it will simply be r&r of turbo and manifold.

  5. Hi everyone, New member here and new owner of a 2003 XR6T. I purchased the car 3 weeks ago with 220,000km on the clock. I drove it the 4 hours home no problems. The problem started this week when I get a call from the wife, the car won't start. It wouldn't even engage the starter at all. So I grabbed a spare battery and went down to change the battery. I get there and sure enough the car wouldn't start. When switched to ON all the lights come up but go to run and nothing. I disconnect the battery and put the new battery in. Same thing, no start. Few more goes on the key and it suddenly starts as if there was nothing wrong. I soon realised it was a electrical fault so I put the old battery back in and sure enough all was fine again. I checked the battery with a multimeter standing and also running and both the battery and alternator and working as they should. Then come last night! Driving to go out for dinner and I loose My GAUGES! The tachometer and speedo sit at 0 as I drive. Then the temp gauge falls to 0. Then the check engine, oil light, traction control light and various other come on! The car seemed to be running normal but I quickly pulled into a park and switch it off. I then tried to restart the car and sure enough, nothing. No run. After a dozen odd turns of the key I get life and all is well as if nothing happened?! Sorry for the long winded post. Just trying to give as much info as possible. Also to note the car is all standard as far as I know(says the last owner). One other thing is when giving it some heavy throttle at around 4,000rpm + the car surges or hesitates quite a bit. This was a inconsistant problem but is now always there. The car even back fires after a quick squirt to these rpm. Please help and thanks for taking the time to read the gibberish!!!

  8. Had my run today... Dead stock with full tank of fuel, spare and tools on board I ran back to back 24.3s @ 216kmh! Much quicker than what I hoped for out of the family limo... Smoked my mate in his modified Bogan special ute who ran 24.9, and a VE GTS "325" who ran 25.2! Plus I am still waiting on the time for the final run where I dropped spare etc.and nailed the launch but was down 3-4kmh due to wind (supposed to be emailed to me tonight as we had to leave early). G6ET is currently quickest in the 1E class although tomorrow the Zonda, Lambo and Corvette that are also in 1E might change that! Stoked.

  10. depending on the cars mods a flat 12 can be hard to get, but some will SMASH MY DATE hard in to make the car feel stronger and this smashing of the boost may help it get a little more in the top end but it is because it is falling over from a higher level. one of my customers ran 11.6 with 302 rwkw in complete street trim a few years back. Not all the small turbo cars will make 320-330 rwkw some are maxed out at 315

  24. Had my rota grids on for 2 years as my road rims. Can't justify light expensive rims for the daily street as there's always the chance of scratching them. Don't care if I scratch my rota's 9.5" at the back with 275 semi's. Dark gun metal. No probs at all. Even used them as my circuit wets. Like most aftermarket rims they have a 73mm centre bore. Will need centric hub rings though. 70.3mm - 73mm. Ebay always have them. Alloy are better but plastic do the job too. Help you centre the wheel when doing up lock nuts and eliminate vibration/chance of failure.

  25. There's 4+ low mount T3 turbo options for our cars now that will make over 600 rwkws. So yeah very spoilt for choice and the look at peoples faces when you lift the bonnet on your 9 sec car and they see what essentially looks like a stock looking set up! Good times.... Good times!

  28. Looks like 'boink is right, at 5000rpm is making 370odd kws, changing gear at 5000 would net a 123mph pass or there a bouts... so great tune, great result

If you want to feed him premium food, I'd recommend Black Hawk http://www.onlinepetcart.com.au/dog-food-dry/black-hawk/black-hawk-puppy-lamb-and-rice-holistic-20kg.html#.UnhEl_lmh8E This stuff is Aussie made, great value and is PROPER food.. not full of useless fillers such as corn etc like Pedigree and most other stuff you buy from the supermarket

  37. Thanks Geoff, its been nearly six mths again since ive driven it so will be good to get back behind the wheel, it'll be some type of monster this time. Im guessing around 6wks for completion as we have alot to do to it yet but we have everything bar the cams so it is just time now. We decided to run sensors in every runner on the exh manifold so 6boost have modified it to suite, just another little something to make sure all is well when we do decide to turn it right up. As for atomic I think they have some good parts, we're still using the rods, girdle, oil pump, balancer and anti pump lifters but as for the complete engines I wont comment any further
