    Spent more than a day cleaning up my basically brand new anyway F6 last year. This year I might wash it, or put a microfibre in the boot and threaten to wipe something. Just get your ride clean enough to feel its presentable (ie neat and tidy) and don't worry about the judging - makes for a much more enjoyable day! I see brand new cars every day, and spent 2 years spotting defects most customers would never see. Ihave to kind of "turn down the radar" when it comes to used cars lol.

    I've got a better lens this year so we'll look even more pro-last year guys were taking down barriers and shooing people out of the way so we could take photos. I think they thought we were from some magazine, maybe it was cock and balls monthly deek?

    I'm keen gaz. Prefer to hang out with my true family this year (those XR FPV club guys are a bit...different). Cruise, park inside, everything if still possible. Learnt my lesson from last year-just going to do a quick wash and then forget about it! I'll talk to Chris (captain) cause I'm sure he's forgotten!

    Buy one now... Actually, buy a 2012 plate now, buy a 2013 in a few months (everything just moved back to ford, let them get used to building them first). I don't think I'll be selling mine any time soon.

    Lol @ "factory" sun roofs! AFAIK all the Ford "factory" roofs were cut at FPV/tickford, no different to any aftermarket install, apart from the benefit of manufacturer warranty.

    I didn't know what to put in so I left it zero as a baseline. Doing some research now I should get the maximum (rating 1) which with shannons is 65% It would need to be an 80% discount to even match my existing premium, which has no restrictions on regular use

    There's a mechanic somewhere here by the name of Wayne Kerr Anyone who thought FPVs were built any different to the rest probably also thinks the V8 supercars roll off the same line. It's a shame to see them close but at least some of the extra stuff they did can now take place where it makes more sense (why put slave wheels on when you can just put the proper ones, ditto bumpers, rockers, etc, and as for the extra holes-no brainer)

    Spotted me and Dre stock F6-ing up Baskia St/Manningham road yesterday, trying not to crash into each other as we shouted through open windows. Conversation went something like: "HEY!" "HEY!" "WHEN DID YOU GET THAT?" "WHEN DID YOU GET THAT?" "WHAT?" "WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO MOD IT?" "NIZPRO!" truck, sh*t, brake. It was almost as confusing as Ford's marketing strategy. You're the voice!

    Seeing as I finished primary school and I reset my trip meter every time I fill up, I find it pretty easy to figure out the economy without the computer. You'd need to do about 800km in a sedan to get 8.5L/100km over the whole tank.
