Euro IV came in June/July. 50th Anniversary followed (ie all 50th anniversary are also Euro IV) Plastic end tanks came in around the first quarter and have nothing to do with emissions - not sure how you thought Ford were getting emissions compliance on the N/A models if that were the case?

XR8 is still just a rumour champ, to be released inb September they'd have to be tootling around as we speak, and you can't launch a car in January - I expect ecoboost around march at best.

Hey champ - noone's getting sacked, as in the last downbalance all those leaving will be from voluntary redundancies (packages). The only accurate info in this thread I've seen so far are the timestamps on the posts... If FPV are working on something good for them, but no-one over this side of the road has had anything to do with it yet. And as for dealers being in the know - a dealer just told my Aunt that the new territory loses the storage compartment on the top of the ICC (ie, now it looks like the FG top hat) in order to fit the diesel engine in. WTF? Info is released to dealers only a few months before everyone else.

All territories pre SZ have engines as per B series falcons. Only SZ have orion engines (and there's no SZ petrol turbo territory anyway)

Dealers always say there are not many $ in it for them. Rest assured, if it didn't suit them, they wouldn't do the deal. I see screwing dealers for price as payback for all the sh*t service they dish out to so many, and all the sales they've cost Ford over the years.

You must be joking -please define exactly what you mean by "sh*ts all over". Honestly - list out exactly what is different. I put it to you that the F6 (and GT) interiors are the same (ie not different enough) as a XR6! The only reason I'm weighing in to this is that its the same for the sedans. The pursuit is dead, the GS is not the replacement, not sure why you're confused about that. I guess FPV decided that the market for sports utes wasn't enough to justify spending the coin to develop that chassis any further.

Did this ages ago (found one lying around at work ) and its a very worthwhile mod for anyone who's replaced the stock piping. As to the actual rocker cover (not the garnish), no difference afaik.

I broke my tailshaft with a 270rwkw tune taking off in a carpark... ...after skid pan day. Mechanical sympathy ftw I think, but I'd be investigating stronger options for more durability at higher outputs.
