  1. I always tell the guys over there its just a tiny tin shed where they put stickers on our hard work.
  2. I could be up for some entertainment tonight kv if things don't pick up around here, might meet you down at JB.
  3. Take out your headlight champ. I hate to state the obvious but if we put it in there you can sure as hell take it out again. That pipe is fitted before headlights. Plus that's how I got the same bloody annoying little f*** of a pipe out when I was doing my piping.
  4. Count the Nitro FG crew in (me plus at least 2)
  5. They're just sensors. ZAP you have a PM
  6. You've changed the engine calibration! The factory engine cal has contingencies inbuilt to compensate for the mismatch between trans behaviour and powertrain, you've thrown that out and replaced it. Unless you can change the trans calibration as well (which Ford can't even do easily), or somehow alter your PCM logic, you have what you have.
  7. The exhausts are the same as far as you're concerned mate.
  8. No they will not.
  9. Lol they go just fine - they've been very handy in helping move house the last few weekends The diesel is great - good enough that I'll look to get one as a second car. EPAS is really good - very comfortable to drive. And best of all the sealing package has been significantly improved, making the whole experience quieter and tighter. I definitely wish I had a touchscreen in my FG now! Not the huge change some may have expected, but for the money spent a nice upgrade.
  10. G'day mate, The whole lower grille is one molded part, so unfortunately you'd have to cut it to get just the centre part out. The grille itself clips to the bumper, with access from the rear of the bumper itself (bumper off to get at it properly). I'd reccomend perhaps getting your hands on a second complete grille and hacking that - that way you have your original to replace it with. Alternatively you could try a hack job without removing anything first, but that's not really my thing. Good luck
  11. Should clarify with the OP whether we're talking about a sedan or ute here.
  12. I'm still not sure what you're trying to say? And have we had this discussion before? Off topic too btw

    335 Gt Tune Only

For all those who are unaware, nothing has been decided yet.
  14. Oh and I did find this!
  15. No sh*t - my business card says so. Or have I just been lucky to make it to work everyday?
  16. Plant 1 is called the Broadmeadows plant.
  17. I'm not on here representing anyone, so I tend to tiptoe around it , but you might say I work where the meadows are very wide, some would describe them as broad. But I've done my homework and eyeballed a few more (brand new) examples, all with plastic end tanks.
  18. Short of photos, plant tours, bill of materials, what more confirmation would you like?
  19. So your only evidence is pictures on the web? Bit early to be starting the bashing I would've thought (or was it "dumb"?) From the photos I can see on carsales it would seem that we're also fitting plastic tanks to G6E turbos in 2011 - so two levels of cooler for the same engine. hmmm Could it not actually be that the photos on the web are of old level vehicles? Heck - there's one there of a nitro car in a showroom which is clearly a very early build FG (2008) and to make it even more authentic it includes pictures of a G6E turbo ICC. And the cherry on top would be that we're actually fitting plastic tanked coolers to cars on line right now, and have been since they were introduced early last year.
  20. Evidence please - I call bull and I'd like to prove it
  21. Pre EuroIV none, post only a slight difference in the cat section
  22. Sure is mate - for you 10000000 million rupees! PM sendings
  23. This may be a good time to mention I have a brand new XR8 airbox and snorkle sitting under my old house that I'd rather not have to find a home for at my new place! That said I have the Process West intake and battery relocation. Its noisy as (so your girlfriend/wife/mother says wtf) but its fun, if you take my meaning. It'd be nice to have two modes - quiet for the daily commute and spooly dose bro for the weekends. My only thoughts now are around getting the polished alloy cover painted black (so its less attention seeking in the engine bay) and trying an alternative battery relocation to bring it to the passenger side, as the engine bay looks very unbalanced with no battery visible and a big hole where the airbox was. I do however very much like the idea of having a setup that looks very stock but performs to the level you want. To this end I may one day ditch the PW airbox, but for now I'm enjoying the loudness of my dose Food for thought (hopefully)
  24. The phrase "I told you so" seems rather appropriate
  25. What are they cooling? Ice is good for DSC testing, which is why cars are sent over.
