Unfortunately it is the vulnerable (usually the elderly) in our society who fall for this. My old man fell for it a couple of years ago - was downloading the software when my nephew walked in and immediately disconnected the computer from the power. The bastards rang back abusing my dad saying the process was incomplete, my nephew gave them an earful and hung up. Luckily no harm was done. Just reformatted and reinstalled the computer.

Have a look around, they were selling brand new f6 short engines for under 3k. Would be enough for power goal

Send your exhaust housing to ratter to fix up

I have had Goodyear Eagle F1A2 on the back, they gripped in all conditions. Make an awesome front tyre, great handling and pull up fast for emergency braking. I currently have Michelin PSS 275-30-19 on the back. They take along time to warm up, but on a hot day with ambient temp above 30C and hot bitumen they will grip all the way through second at 450rwkw. However, on a less than 20C day no matter how long I warm them up they just dont grip that well. Will try the r888 next, but looks like I should move to an 18inch rim for ultimate street grip.

Interesting, the r888 come in a 265-30-19 and 295-30-19. No 275 or 285 profiles.

That car has probably $20k of quality mods invested in it. The owner is on aff,, its well looked after.

Lots of info here and eleswhere on this turbo. You will need a new intake and hot side piping and some mods to your dump pipe. Presume you have fuel pupmp, injectors and intercooler to handle the extra power. Are you fitting it? Who is your tuner? Make sure u do the turbo oil feed line as well

Agree borg warner is best and most expensive. Only worth doing if starting from scratch as will need new dump pipe, intake etc. If you have allready done everything else the precisions and garrets are bolt on.

Factory feature

Seriously look at the precisions. PTE6235 will bolt on without requiring any major mods, then just need a retune. Spiro got 450rwks on mine with 98ron, still a conservative/safe tune. Or look at the 6466 with smaller rear housing for quick spool and even more power.

Better shocks (bilstein/shockworks etc.) and better quality diff/control blade bushes works

More power with quick spool - maybe upgrade the turbo to borg warner efr or precision 6235. Can get 420rwkw on 98ron

Thanks for the pic skids. Looked at a garrett 0.82 housing for my pt6235. Was advised that it was too small and the backpressure/heat build up would put my stock engine at risk. Your in a better position with your built engine, look forward to seeing how that turbo combo goes for you. Why did you relocate your power steering resovoir?

Is your rear 0.82 housing a garrett or precision housing. Internal or external gate? Would like to see some picks if possible?

Creaking, clanks etc are part and parcel of this car. Think of it as car character and get used to it. Seen people replace lots of components and still have driveline/suspension noises. Better to invest money on sound deadening the cabin.

Not bad pricing. Would be cheaper than the borg warner efr where everything needs to be re-engineered and in the ballpark price of the precision bolt-ons. If it spools quicker than the gtx3582, and has garrett reliability you could not go wrong

Are u sure? I was under the impression the gtw 35r turbos would fit the garrett t3 housings? Also, I thought the new gtw range is being marketed as sitting between the gt and gtx power wise.
