  1. Free racing stripe on the roof this morning
  2. Yeah, mines leather - but cheap and nasty. Didnt think about retrimming. Can anyone recommend a trimmer in Western Sydney or the Hills district
  3. Guys, a quick question. I hate the feel of my fg2 steering wheel. Is an fg fpv steering wheel a direct replacement? Does it retain the airbag function?
  4. Yeah, I have been a regular customer there for many years, always had great service at competitive prices. The difference stems from the fact they are local guys who are genuine car enthusiasts
  5. Its the same engine as the mustang. Lots of performance upgrades in that car, expect the same.
  6. Thanks Pah
  7. Does this guy do scratch repairs as well?
  8. For more support, the other option is to look for fpv seats. Lets you keep the airbags as well.
  9. No diff choice will defy the laws of physics. Common sense and good tyres on the street guys. Our cars are too powerful these days to keep straight.
  10. Price is a big factor. The efr range is expensive compared to the precisions. You can get good results with the precisions or garretts so many people think why spend more for marginal benefits?

Yet another awesome bolt on turbo option for the barra. Impressive peak power, whats the spool like? Peak boost at 3200rpm is quite slow compared to the gtx3576, pte 6235, or efr 8374.
  12. Actually if you are after a big step up look at the new gw turbos, precision 6466, mta 950 or the big borg warner efr.
  13. Nice cars! Im guessing the bimmer would have been just as quick as your new ride?
  14. Solid bushes and better shocks (bilsteins) eliminated tramp in dry or wet. Makes a big difference to rear end handling in all situations. Very worthwhile upgrade.
  15. When is this coming to Oz?
  16. Damn, and only a 4 seater. Rules me out. When is the charger coming..... Oh, and well done to KPM

This mob are selling it with exhaust housing for the xr6turbo http://www.pacperformance.com.au/news-14932/new-release-garrett-gtw3884r-bolt-on-turbo-for-xr6t-falcon.aspx Be interesting to see how this turbo goes, will it be laggy?
  18. Nice result, got to be happy with that. No doubt power can be made with crossover, a turbo side just does it easier. I went from 400 to 450rwkw ditching the crossover. Feels like it spools quicker as well. The flip side is it makes heads turn whenever you step on it - not good when your after a stealth look
  19. Was that all wheel spin or is your clutch slipping?
  20. Great result, looks like that turbo spools very quickly. How are the tyres holding up?
  21. You can fit headunits in the FG. Either need to mod/cut the area behind to make it fit. Or use a low depth mechless (no CD mechanism) headunit which is what I did with one of Stav's plates.
  22. There are places repairing garrett turbos. You should be able to find a replacement turbo for well under $1k. Lots of guys upgrading and selling off their original turbos. You want a direct replacement - dont upgrade to a gtx etc as you will have to pay for a tune and xcal4, new intake etc.
  23. that's odd. The guys who have gone the gtx3576 rave about the midrange. What other mods? Who tuned it?
