    gtx3582R I have in my manual FG ute and there is bugger all lag really I am at full boost at around 2800rpm, in an Auto with load up I dont see you will have any significant lag, the GTX42 however I cannot comment on.

    I had this problem, turns out the audio cable was running past the shifter and being crushed and had a bad case of engine noise or alternator noise, Take the surround off from the shifter and moved the cable and problem solved ! Removing the surround it easy, lift and pull forward and then peel the boot up to the top of the shifter, you should then see all the cabling and AUX in cable, make sure none are fowling the shifter and you should be good to go. Also check the AUX cable in, I had to jig that around a bit to get mine working ok.

    Got truetac fitted and tested it out in the ute today, unreal, these should be factory fitted ! Oh and now I have a new dump pipe that's not cracked my fuel economy should get better

    I would be doing a rebuild of the engine, brakes and suspension for 10 drive in drive out. I have heard good things about Ali from BTA, a fully built engine is only going to help you if you are going to want more power. Just my thoughts though

    have you had a look from the top around the head and cam covers to see if its a gasket up top? Is the car still with ford?

    I got quoted $1880 from Herrod for a new shaft, after reading your above post there will be no way I will be getting them to provide me one. Mine opens and closes like a barn door that diff centre, my truetrac arrived in the post today, next week will be skids ahjoy !

    I am going truetrac centre cause mine keeps open wheeling and I am sick of it, I am hoping I dont have bent axles either cause that will delay me getting it back on the road and also burden the purse strings.

    Generally you should empty your tank completely before switching to E85, lately I have been doing the whole run it as low as possible in the tank, fill it with E85, sit idling for about 5-10 mintues till the exhaust smells like E85 then swap the tune over, same in reverse when swapping back to the other. I have not had any issues doing it this way. First time I did it I took the return line off the surge tank and pumped the tank out into a jerrycan then flushed the E85 into the system to swap over and the same when swapping back to 98. The way it was put to me to do the shorter method, 5 odd litres of 98 in E85 tank of 80 odd litres isnt going to make a massive difference when you fill up.

    Oil, oil filter, fuel filter and new wiper inserts then washed the ute before it started raining, perfect use of a saturday arvo when the boys wont take the boat fishing.

    Mate I rode the bike all Sunday and loved it, nothing wrong with the Cb400 if I was in a better financial shape I would buy one end of story.

    Mate the CB400 is brilliant a mate of mine bought one (her first bike) and I rode it with her on the back last Sunday, it is brilliant, fuel injected, handles the twisties really well, very easy to ride and quiet as. I miss my road bike, I have a dirt bike to take the edge off, but a new bike will be in the stable by the end of the year without a doubt. Do not I repeat do not buy a hyodung, mate of mine had a the head stem bearing snap while riding and ended up in the bushes. I have heard many a bad thing about them and not one good thing except they are cheap.

    I ran radiator flush in mine for the required time as per the bottle (Nulon). Then flushed the system with a hose, ran it till the car was up to temp, flushed it pulling the radiator plug once it had cooled down, then refilled with 50/50 red nulon coolant, run the car with heater on flat out and made sure it was up to the max level in the reservoir, gave it a few revs to get rid of any air locks while the reservoir cap was off and filled it back up to the max level. Job done !

    Speak to Mick from Pitlane and get his advice on a rebuild, first place I would be speaking to if I wasnt in Sydney. Atomic is expensive and from what I have read some of thier big dollar engines havent played all that nice. Just ask the guy who has the G6ET that got Horspower factory to put the atomic engine in, I think it had to come out a few times. I think his name on here is AtomiCG6. Personally I have never used Atomic apart from some of their parts, which has not missed a beat. Do your research and you will be rewarded in spades, do cheque book racing and you might get more than you bargain for. Just my 2c from what I have read and experienced.

    house on the water double garage and a nice ski boat and a yacht for entertaining, then a shed somewhere else with a heap of cars in it. 1 Desmo Ducati, RSV4, and a few cruisers and of course one project car and bike

    Always have a back up if you are going to limp it that far, I would take the risk but have a plan if all goes to sh1t.

    I have it in the FG ute, all behind the seats across under the back window and now in both doors, makes them sound solid and definately reduces road noise and improves, doors now sound solid when they close. If I had more money and time I would do the rest of the ute for some extra noise reduction. Well worth the cost, I split a full pack with another mate of mine who has a ute and it was cheap off ebay
