Had a test going at work for a new product over the weekend. Got it logging 4 new sensors to a server. Sensors in an environmental chamber going from -20c to 40c over 63 hours. 11 hours in (about 1am Saturday morning) the laptop that had the RS485 to USB adaptor grabbing the data from sensors did a windows feature update. Installed and restarted automatically for our convenience :) 

We lost over 50 hours worth of data.

ahh yes... use winaero to disable windows update checking etc to prevent that :) mine doesn't auto-update.

Foot go down. Car went pop pop bang. I found old mate 150 metres away. Over boost I would say.

yikes, that's some serious breakage... gudgeon pin still attached to the little end of the conrod which has bent and snapped... but no piston in sight. :yikes:

It's harder getting a tow truck on a wet day.

 

Was a big pop. Only saw the bottom end didn't see anything else.
