  1. Mates XL with his blown cross flow combo.
  2. And here lies the reason why the stock ba motor is throwing rods on the floor.
  3. 1650kg with out me in it so 1720kg as it was raced last night. Not really any lighter then a bf or anything.
  4. Anyone else head down there last night? Took my el down with it now running an auto after the clutch meltdown a couple of weeks ago. Still hasn't seen the Dyno after the gearbox swap but it went a 10.8 fairly easy even got a 1.59 60ft with a standard btr and stock convertor.

I would just use a syringe full of fluid pull the nipple out and push the fluid up from the bottom. I did this once when I couldn't get it to bleed right.
  6. Meh is what it is my car was tuned by him when I first got it running because I never new how to tune back then and I was in a rush to get it going for powercruise. Justin can be a bit abrupt to dreamers and the like just depends how you take him. He is one of the only tuners in Perth that will tune almost any type of ecu. He also has no issue getting a car to pass 5 gas emissions test on the first go (ask any other tune shop to do a tune for 5 gas they probably won't do it.) I also don't talk to him at all anymore do to a falling out with my mates and him so don't take it as I'm just trying to run up buisness. When it comes 4l turbo powered Falcons in Perth that actually get the sh*t beaten out of them at the track he would easy tune the most of them. What model haltech is he running@MurdoK I'm guessing PS2000 or an Elite 2500 if he gets stuck getting it running let me know can probably send him a tune to start and drive. Tell him to put a build thread up for it would be keen to see some more info on it.
  7. What kind of setup is it running? Most of them e series at powercruise that were chopping hard I did most of the tune on. If you want a shop BYE Performance he's done a few with haltech and he also tunes the cars that Steve was talking about at racewars.
  8. Wish I could like that more times^[emoji106] Seen Facebook post about it and was cheering.

Welcome to the life of the high hp manual problems. Don't think it will be the last time you pull the box out with an organic clutch trying to hold up in this. Did it transfer to much metal from the flywheel to the crank whilst it was loose? The arp bolts are good but like you found they require a thick flywheel mounting surface.
  10. sh*t that little thing is expensive. I just took the standard end out of the plastic line cut the barb off and welded a 1/4 olive clamp fitting (dunno what you call it really it's just a stainless line end.) then used another one to screw into the slave, slave should have 1/8npt thread. Found a flexible hydraulic line at work with 1/4 barb type ends that I could put straight into the olive fitting. Total cost of $0. Making custom components FTW. Here is a pick of my setup if you zoom in you will see the fitting that I tig welded together.
  11. Probably got kicked off track when looping it out or something by grumpy Gup and his greedyness. He does piss a lot of people off if there is one person out there doing big skids then kicking a whole cruise session 1 lap in off the track who have waited hours just to get on. Saying that there is no were else around really that you can take a full car load out and drift the track sensibly.
  12. Mad inc posted it this morning. He posted a few half shots allready looking mint again.
  13. The Lpi pistons will need to have a floating wrist pin as I said in the other thread. 99% sure that they won't and that they will be press fit like all the other models.
  14. You weren't kidding... sh*t that's worse then my 20 yr old el falcon that's never had a polish.
  15. Undo the bleed nipple get a syringe and suck the fluid through till it runs freely flush 2-3 fills of the resivoir through it then screw the nipple back in and tighten. Get in car and pump the pedal like a mother focker till it pulls a good pedal.
  16. Tight LSA cam does wonder with high comp.
  17. Unless the Eco Lpi piston is floating wrist pin which I doubt they will then you won't be able to use aftermarket rods with them. 12:1 is extremely high for boost really it's to high would be a methanol only engine if I was to run Comp that high. Why 12:1? The stock n/a FG enigine is 10:1 which is a better compromise and at 10:1 you could still just run it on 98 with the right cam setup.
  18. Proabably be correct in saying that atomic just sell you an AU bearing at 15x the price like most of there stuff.
  19. Pretty sure you should be able to just order a set of AU sohc bearing they are 360* thrust.
  20. Wouldn't even need to change the tune to get it registered its only intake piping and exhaust they don't need to go on a hot lap in the car they should only be checking for bald tyres, oil leaks, worn bushes and balljoints it's not that hard I've done a few cars now and I just leave little thing wrong with the car like slight oil leak then they pick it first time fix the little bits and it will pass it's it really easy I don't know why everyone makes such a fuss about it. If you really want to engineer it and emissions Justin at BYE Performance seems to have no problems getting a car to pass an emissions test first time.
  21. ^ so gay. Was only adding new mods to my car just so I could hand out chop at racewars now it's over.
  22. For all that effort you could just buy a stock cooler intake setup off gumtree for $100 and would have it registered strait away with no issues would only take a day to swap it over. Even when you engineer all this if a cop pulls you over he can just ignore your permits and put a sticker on anyway so it's a waste of time.
  23. That's because of the amount of people that have smashed the wall from it. The drag strip is the stickiest bit of road you will drive on until you get the tyres to turn then it becomes more slimy then a bitumen road in the first rain after summer.
  24. Your thread is the new mattyp thread can't see any posts. Who would of thought an upgrade that cost money would make the forum so useless lol.
  25. Powerskids on the drag strip are all fun till you go from the concrete to the bitumen and it throws you into the wall haha. Watched many cars smash the wall from holding there foot into it.
