  1. Spluttering sound is it? I had that when accelerating on boost, when my exhaust manifold started to come loose (loose bolts). Its bound to happen eventually if you dont tighten the manifold bolts when servicing.

  13. There is absolutely no way you're going to receive a definitive answer on which IC/kit is best. I'm not being deliberately difficult or coy, that's just the way it is. Each kit has their army of fans, and depending on who you talk to, every second person has 'evidence' that this one's better, or that one's better. All you can do as an individual, is contact each vendor, and ask them a bunch of Qs. Then keep looking in their forum sections for testimonials, install stories, "you guys f*kin rock!" posts etc etc. As for the product offered by the forum sponsors, as far as I can tell, there aren't any sh*t ones so you can't really go wrong. So really this post is no help at all, except to say that you may as well go with the kit that gives you the biggest hardon. Me, well I think Plazmamans big IC is sex, Rapids intake the same, and PW's plenum CNC at its finest. But, what the f*ck do I know anyway.

  18. yeah, grain of salt required though I guess. As most dudes here will tell you, its really only an indicator of power, the true test being the mph at the end of a 1/4 mile run. BF F6s have known to do 109mph stock after a 400m dash.
  19. Manuals generally dyno a tad higher. For what its worth, mine went 253 stock on the Nizpro dyno back in April 06.

  23. Nope. But you can hook up a seperate car computer (aka carputer) and then display whatever you want through the ICC LCD. check out the 'carputer' threads in this here audio section.
