1. I think he means he wants to put the kit ON and XR6T, not that its specifically made for it.
2. My guess would be.... behind you. ZING! /shows self out.

In short - drive it hard, just dont rev the f*ck out of it (ESPECIALLY with no load).
4. I must say this is all very impressive. I'd certainly like to buy something like this. All behind the facia eh? do like do want
5. So the garage then. I understand you need to be a donating member to create one, and fair enough. But why not make it viewable to non members, and have a nice easy to remember URL like www.fordxr6turbo.com/SavageF6 ? That way dontaing members could share the link around and have anyone click on it without having to register. Would be good advertising when you think about it, whereas a "sorry, you're a chump you need to register to see this" message is just plain annoying.

Alright, lets start the rumour then. A mate of mine heard it's gonna be a Supercharged GT! Move over Walkinshort!

Hmmm, Special Edition 'model'- singular. So it'll be one based on a GT OR F6. I'd be tipping a tickled-up GT personally.
9. 4th in a manual as it's a 1:1 ratio. Dunno about auto though, I don't think they have a 1:1 ratio gear. For a stock BF F6, you'd be looking at 108-109mph. mph indicates power, the ET shows you how good you were at getting out of the hole. That's the way I think of it anyway.
10. How much boost was fed in?
11.
Is there any intrest in group buy for Walbro Fuel pumps ... Ive had a few PMs so im thinking of doing on.. Let me know if your interested... These are Wlabro pumps and kits to fit XR6 Turbo with hoses and all hardware not to suit Mustangs like most others sell.. Around the $155 delivered Australia Wide... Let me know. Jim
I'd be up for a kit. Would you be looking at supplying a 341 or 294? I'd be after a 294. Edit: Jim, the forum tells me your PMs dont work.
12. pfffft, the only interesting bit in that first vid was around 1:55 when I thought there was a chance he was going to take out his missus. Honestly, wet tarmac and now grass?? Dis guy is da awesum!

It once took a dealer in Canberra three days to remove my IRS and replace the diff bush. Then I had to get it done again not long after I came back to Adelaide as it wasnt done right and had prematurely flogged out the suspension bushes (Ford's own assessment). I've always said that Ford make some great cars, but it's the aftersales experience and servicing that the can let the show down (and determines whether you buy that brand again). The simple fact is that there's no guarantee of experienced hands (or even a care factor) being applied to your car. Personally, I alternate between Ford and the workshop of my choice. Ford do the major services, the workshop does the intermediate (so the car gets serviced every 7500km). Of course, that puts me at risk of each party blaming the other for anything that goes wrong.....
14. "NO TYRE KICKERS OR TEST DRIVES" Who the *beep* is going to drop $30k on Kermit the Frog's old car with no test drive???
15. I'd buy that, how much? Those G-Lock-10 things go for $30 for a set of four off the 'online auction site'.
16. I was 30 when I got my BF phoon, and still couldnt keep my license. My brother was 27 when he got his BF GT, and both are still going strong and wont be traded for many years. Both purchased new (me in SA, him in Melb), after we travelled to the Syd Motor Show in '05 to have a look see together. That was the same weekend I was carded and initially refused entry at Cruise Bar (no valid ID) on the Rocks too FFS.

18. It also comes in 1 litre bottles.
19. Picked up mine from the PO today, thanks Pat.
20. Whacked me monz in last night. Should be there now hopefully.
21. Nah, unless you did the world's greatest slip-launch whilst building boost and had smoke pouring from the bellhousing, the clutch itself should be ok. Especially if it's been fine ever since it cooled down. You might have stuffed the plastic CSC though, might be worth getting an alloy one. Check out the Mal Wood subforum. HEAPS of good stuff for the MANual driver: http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showforum=86 Alloy CSC: [Wrong link removed] Braided clutch lines: http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=27234 And shifter: http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=29354
22. Sounds like you must've heated it up too much that first time dragging your mate. Were you giving it heaps with the clutch half engaged rather than just dropping it the first time? There's not a clutch on the planet that wont over heat from being deliberately slipped on takeoff to build boost.
23. lol @ 'demilitarized zone, Korea'
24. SPEW!
25. lol, five years ago called; they want their revelation back.
