  1. Thanks for the honesty dude. This is the first I've heard of the xforce audio not being up to par; most comments are on the flow only.

Though the FG XR6T and BF F6 share the same peak power figure, the FG has lower torque for starters, and uses 2psi more to achieve the power due smaller compressor wheel from what I've read on here and other places. However they say the car is more responsive due the smaller comp wheel so that's one plus. Food for thought anyway. Oh and 'Runout BF F6 FTW!!'.
  3. How much on their own? Edit: recent discussion here: http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...=46664&st=0
  4. As a spectator my 2c would be as above, ie regardless of whether the car or the race setup still exist, it still happened and should be recorded with the details correct at the time of the run.

lol, the BF vs FG debates almost rival the 'intercooler comparison thread' for emotive argument. Me, I'd buy a BF F6 now, or wait and get a runout on a Series 1 FG XR6T (once any bugs were ironed out) in a year or so. After the Savage-Spec F6 I purchased those years ago, I'd only buy the just-released model if I got another great deal as I did.
  6. Nice 'chop berkerzer! No reponse as to fittage over big stoppers though. Or any response for that matter. Might try a few more UK vendors before I chuck it in.
  7. Ah, right you are. Anyway dude, thanks heaps for the help. You dug up far more than I did. Pass or fail its been an interesting exercise no two ways about it. Oh, I hope they clear big brakes! Thanks again bloke, I'm off for some shut eye
  8. You are the link ninja! (heh, see what I did there?) Geez, that's not too pricey at all. I'll see what they know about clearance. Might be handy to get the 6 pot caliper diagrams somehow. Edit: I see the 18x8.5 is um (pound sign)138 whereas the 19x8.5 is 179. Still though, heck of a lot cheaper than I expected.
  9. F'ckin what??????? You serious?? Holy sh*t, so does the 19x8.5 according to that link!!! They'd have to clear 6 potters surely. They MUST!! Edit: Um, sh*t. I dont think I asked about 6 pot Brembo clearance in my email to whoever-the-f*ck.
  10. Oh man, that'd be enough to make me sookey-lala if that happened. Yeah, the Hiro's are no loss I suppose. I think I was more taken by the shiny Antracite finish TBH. If anyone from whoever-the-f*ck-I-emailed-in-the-UK ever gets back to me about the Hanzo's, I'll post back. Snooze time. Cheers fellas
  11. Oh, you meant the Axis Hiro? Now I'm with ya. They looked ok by themselves in the staggered pic on the site, but a bit sh*t frankly in some of the 'customer car' pics. Those Hanzo's though, f*ck me dead eh? I'm in love with the.... swish....bit. No way they'll have them in the right offsets though, I just know it.
  12. I wish. I concede they do both have five spokes though.
  13. Yeah, there's a bit of that too I guess lol. Here's a link to the Axis Hiro anyway just for the hell of it: http://axiswheels.com/wheels.php?id=hiro Edit: the offset on the Hiro 19x8.5 is an easy +35, but the 19x9.5 rear is fail. Something like +55 and +40 only I think.
  14. Hahaha, I was just shooting an email about offsets etc as it turns out. Cant find much in the way of contact info, feel like I may as well be yelling out the window. I'd go 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear as you say, but its always the offsets that bite me in the arse. Was looking at Axis Hiro (Antracite) before this, but the only option I had was 19x8.5 all round, so may as well stick with 18x8 stockers as I wanted wider rear. Oh, and the other thing is fitment over the bloody 6 pot brembos. You never know though.
  15. Question asked, question answered! Thanks mate
  16. Never seen them before http://www.turbosmartonline.com/images/2015.jpg http://www.turbosmartonline.com/images/2017.jpg Cheers.
  17. Nice car bloke. BF F6 - mmm mmmmm gooooood.

I have to agree. That FG F6 wing doesnt look aggressive enough at all.
  19. Do like. A lot.

Some of the styling decisions are the only thing I dont like about the FG F6. Bat out of hell comes to mind in terms of performance, and makes me 'Ford' proud. Already some of my 'Holden' mates have been making comments like "Oh I wear a skirt, and no one can legally to faster than the posted limit so who cares. Now excuse me while I go cry in the corner". Ford FTW. Anyone who isn't driving an FG now has the old model and needs to suck it up (no animosity intended). That fact however, certainly won't diminish the pride I have in my BF F6. Good looking car, fast as sh*t on its own, and front end styling to kill for. Not to mention its part of the B series that brought Ford Aus back from the brink. SavageF6-spec. There is only one.

  22. Spluttering sound is it? I had that when accelerating on boost, when my exhaust manifold started to come loose (loose bolts). Its bound to happen eventually if you dont tighten the manifold bolts when servicing.
