I have got Dave to email me a tune to run bigger injectors so that I could drive to see him but im not real keen on a full noise tune coming from an email...

wtf are you doing to do all this damage, clutch kicking at 100km??? how much power are you running?

Fair enough, this was a few years ago when I went through it all and PW only had the battery relocation to under the guard so I went a plaz engine bay battery kit and a PW stage 2 cooler kit. But good to hear it all fits now.

It probably is cheaper, but personally I don't like the idea of a battery or fuel system in my boot, I don't know about the legal side of it I'm probably just paranoid. I'm all for doing things myself, if you got access to the gear/tools it wouldnt be hard to knock up your own brackets for the other side of the bay or relocate it to the boot. I was just lazy and bought the kit lol

are the headlights set to auto? and do you have a dashmat or something covering the day/night sensor?

I relocated to the other side of engine bay with a plazmaman relocation kit around $300 I think. I wanted to keep it in the engine bay and I only wanted to run a PW stage 2 kit so it was doable. But if wanting to run a PW stage 3 kit with the bigger piping I think the battery has to be moved to the boot.

I sold the car soon after that anyway, but yea probably should have put one back on it.

Mine fryed an exedy and that's why I went malwood and your right the exedy was a really heavy pedal, not fun to drive at all

Yea exactly my thoughts I'm gonna give it 10 weeks and see how I go. Sick of doing my normal routine.

No pics, but just bought a 2000L slim line water tank, filter, pump, drain pipe, sleepers/crackadust for stand and doing all labour mysekf. 2000L of rainwater plumbed to my kitchen for around $1500 can't complain!

Anyone tried the 5x5 workout? Squatting pretty much 3 times a weeks while doing a few other exercises starting light and upping the weight slowly each session until fail then drop it back and go again. I'm running it until Christmas, wish me luck.

messaged him this morning with a few questions, and will probably make an offer tomorro. fix box, get dave to work his magic with an e85 tune and max out turbo and should be a low 10 if not a high 9sec car. I rarly go on long trips so 2sp wouldnt worry me too much. just the driving 2000km with a trailer to turn up and it be an absolute sh*tter worries me. Just saw the above pic says its ended and I cant check on my work computer WAAAAH

If I bought that one it would be a hobby car, drags and powerplay ect with the odd weekend use. And yea I'm a little worries about getting a Rwc gearbox change and I assume a block change so it could be difficult. And unfortunately it's a 2000km trip 1 way...

Probably Failure. Get someone to strip and rebuild it and then go up the power!

I used a malwood 3+ in my old ute and it is still holding 350rwkw and is really nice to drive, others go for npc, exedy, torque clamp. Have a read through some of the clutch threads and go from there

Bf xr6t 130xxxkm on it running 320rwkw for 5 years (60xxxkm). Oil flushed with transmax z at 90xxxkm, still stock heat exchanger I think. Coped a fair hiding when I owned it, and still gets a decent workout from new owner, to my knowledge all is going well. Fg xr6t 60xxxkm on it running 400rwkw with daves zf tune for 2 1/2 years (20xxxkm). Oil flushed with lifeguard and external cooler added at 45xxxkm, did a few 1/4 passes and has done a few track days and a powerplay, all is going well with new owner.
