I did all at once to my fg 6xrt, bf turbo with .7 cover and bigger wheel, cooler, exhaust, injectors surge ect and got my tuner to email me a base tune so that I was able to drive it 500km to him. Do you have the money? Are you going to be content with 320rwkw for a while until you upgrade turbo?

what state mate? I remember a few months back a phantom ba t56 manual with built motor for sale up in Cairns/Townsville, I will see if I can find boostcruising add.

My stage 2 kit on my old fg had no markings on it. Not sure why some of them don't have markings... Perhaps an earlier build one, or maybe the distributor gets cheaper if he buys in bulk with no markings?

Just bought a late 70s honda z50j, the model that can be registered ect. She's a bit rough but picked it up for a steal.

All good mate but how much do you value your time? Option 1 buy name brand surge costs you say $800 and instructions to fit, even someone that isnt mechanically minded fits it in an hour or so. Option 2 you go spend hours finding un named parts that cost you say $500 then you spend a day putting it together and fitting it whilst ducking off to the shops to pick up the parts you have forgotten, a bit of a hastle but you would have a good feeling of accomplishment. Personally for the sake of a few hundred dollars I like Option 1, the time and headaches I saved fitting option 1 I could have put in a days overtime, played with kids (if you got them) or had a heap of beers.

that is a shame I havent heard bad reports about the QLD shops, brissy, mackay ect...

for the sake of saving a few hundred why bother, xr6 turbo for sale facebook page there is a bloke in qld selling a brand new plaz with 044 for $800 delivered anywhere.

Yea if I was to go I would rent somewhere in gladdy to start and then eventually buy in tannum if all went well. I think I'm a dreamer more than anything haha

I'm sure they filter fine, but I bought 1 and the threads on it were cut really poorly and it didn't want to do up. I returned it and got another and it wouldn't do up either. I got the chits and got a ford one and it did up straight away, just my personal experience...

Oil filter nothing wrong with ryco from supercheap, but fuel filter go genuine, from person experience.

I think mine was 1200 anyway, 500 normal than another 700 for being under 25

Yea I have watched all the YouTube vids and they don't do it justice, it really does quieten it down. The only thing I would be worried about on a falcon is having it on quiet mode and forgetting and giving it a boot. An ss back pressure isn't much of an issue, but if I have learnt anything from this forum back pressure on a falcon is very important haha

Mates got one on his cammed vy ss twin 3" and it makes a world of difference, angry and loud to barely louder than stock. Haven't heard one on a falcon though.

Big cams in an auto with a little stall is still drivable IMO, but f*ck they like fuel.

f*cks me what it makes now but I Just re watched you tube vid of it at the end of 2012 and you're right it made 992rwhp... If I was there to piss on the front of the intercooler it would have cracked the 1000hp...

why not just buy the 1000hp red f6 on ebay, or johns 1000hp xr6t or the old bta f6...sell yours, buy theirs. Easy and cost effective...

Ran stock fg springs making 400rwkw for about 6months but started to lost top end at drags, went from 130mph down to 124mph, that all happened around 40,000km

Years ago on my old b series sedan I went from a pw stage 1 to a rapid stage 3... Big mistake there, have gone pw ever since and will not buy anything else.

Call Dave at CPV in mackay and see if he can give you answers over the phone, or take the car for a drive and get him to tune it. Do all these faults occure at WOT or just cruising around? Hes a good bloke he can probably email you a base tune to baby around on to see if it is tune related, if his base tune fixes the issues then go for a drive and get him to tune it properly...
