The ford dealer wants $111.50 for it. If it was fitted in the factory $70.00.What a rip off. The output from the player is only a stereo jack, so that is 4 wires and maybe a jumper in the plug.

The dearer one has a booster which also connects to the mobile phone output hence the dearer cost. I paid about 90 off a dealer for mine.

THEN if you get engine whine/noise pay the $100... IN my BF, my $5 cable works fine with no noise whatsoever. The only "downside" is that the volume has to be turned up about 7-8 more levels that normal for the same volume.

Its now unlikely to get engine whine on the BF due to the changes they have made.If you want to get the volume up to the same level as your ICC's CD player then I can help you out with that too.cheers,shock.
