You're living the past, mate... towing is ridiculously expensive, especially for long distances like a 45min drive.

Try do the right thing and buy from an Australian seller. Paid the bit extra thinking I would get the item sooner.

Part was out of stock, due in early following week. Got told a day after ordering. That was 23/06

Now after emailing (wont answer phone) and being told it would be sent Wednesday last week. I still havnt seen it.

Open paypal dispute last night, now seller replies on email asking to close dispute till he can give me tracking on Wednesday or later.

Im not closing the dispute as I cannot re-open it later if I dont get the item.

If I had bought the item from the US like I was tempted to do it would of been cheaper and delivered in less then a week.

so even if it is registered and have all the tail lights connected ,but no tray (no rear guards ) I can get finned ? .it is like a unroadeworthy car . they promised me that the parts were going to be done today so that I could assemble it tonight .I had two mates lined up to help me just to get the tray on .

The only way to be sure is to call your local authority and enquire. (even then, tha'ts not gauranteed, but far more likely than asking a bunch of people on the internet).

You've enquired with the local authority and they say it's illegal?

The middle of the night is possibly the worst thing you can do, as the cops have nothing better to do than book people for whatever reason they can find, to stave off the boredom of Tuesday night shift. lol. If you're going to do it illegally, drive in traffic - the cops are less likely to bother trying to pull somebody over in traffic due to the difficulty/disruption it can potentially cause. *just my opinion
