  1. So zf then? I really like that colour I've just decided, something different.
  2. Company's pay big money to get this information from manufacturers so they are able to manufacture things like dashdaq and scan tools. It wouldn't surprise me if you cannot extract the pid and equation from your device but fingers crossed. It will more than likely be encoded in some way. I have a text file which supposedly contains all the pids from the ford ids software and its virtually useless without decoding.
  3. pics of it working please, I have been trying my hardest to find something, the mode 01 pid doesn't work and neither does the mode 22 ford specific pid. However the workshop manuals to mention an EOT sensor and even go on to mention checking the pid, no pid info other than OIL_TEMP...ofcourse
  4. Not sure if your trying to correct me or make things clearer for old mate. But the whole system is called pressurised crank case ventilation. The check valve at the back is for when the throttle is closed and draws in gases under manifold vacuum, and the breather is for when the throttle is open and the check valve is closed, hence it is fed into the intake to be burned for emissions reasons, rather than venting to atmosphere. Its all part of the PCV, the little plastic check valve is not THE PCV. You think theres alot of oil in your intake? Pull your throttle body off and have a look in your manifold...
  5. Standard fg setup it comes out of the valve cover about half way along and goes straight into the cross over. Just clean your intake out. Seriously a small amount is normal. Boosted engines have a lil bit of blow by, rings dont make a perfect seal.
  6. Its more likely to becoming from your pcv breather than your bov. A little is normal. Alot could mean you have a decent amount of positive crank case pressure. Which could be as serious as stuffed rings or as simple as faulty pcv valve.
  7. I reckon It did spin a bit through first, it appears to just be turning just a little as your stalling and your 60ft isn't flash, easily an 11 in it
  8. 200rwkw is possible on an N/A. Wish my dirty old 5L had that when I was 17. These cars have changed our perspective of power dramatically.
  9. Tune time?
  10. yeah I believe you guys, I was obviously being up sold at the time.
  11. Pays to not take everything as gospel as I was told the copying was the other way around.
  12. Haha really? That's a stitch up given the pricing. Or is the harrop actually made of stronger materials?
  13. Gunna also got new gears im pretty sure, so sounds about right.
  14. you were cruising past the bp on wardell st heading towards enoggera. bout 7:30. Caught my eye, thought ive seen that thing before. Dont listen to carnts about the stripes and DRL's mate, looks sh*t hot in the flesh.
  15. 1500 would be for a Eaton centre which is a copy of the harrop truetrac which is about 1400 just for the centre, eaton is about 600ish. So if gunna has a harrop then he hasn't over paid, well maybe a little.
  16. Seca are you in brisvegas? Pretty sure I saw you this morning
  17. Great write up mate, this is one of my fav g6e's now. Interested to know what NGK plugs ratter used.
  18. Then go to adapter settings and tick hide unsupported sensors. All you will see in torque scan when connected to the vehicle is whatever pids you have that match whats on the can. There is possibly more but figuring out pids is another thing entirely.
  19. Search torque plug in's on your relevant app store
  20. Okay so everybody has the torque scan plug in installed right? You can see everything available in realtime from there.
  21. Cant do oil temp as there is no sensor as far as im aware. Just a pressure switch, no pressure pid either.
  22. Nexen N6000's have got to be some of the best value for money tyres going. 160 each fitted for 19x245x35s. Ive had 2 sets of rears and 1 set of fronts. Grip is excellent for 2/3 of their life then they turn to liquidhorsepower for the rest as described above. Which is fine by me.
  23. Sony Xperia Z1 screen cracking in my pocket, Sony not covering it under warranty and the $220 replacement(not genuine) being a better display. Be careful how much pressure gets put on your phone in your pocket!! This issue is affecting the S5 and LG G2 aswell.
  24. Its a switch on the box that tells the car its in reverse, it will be on the side of box somewhere a few inches back from the bell housing. Not sure which side on 6spd
  25. Go to settings, manage extra pids, menu button top right, predefined set, select ford
