  2. Been using e85 for 18 months in my evo. Never had an issue. Falcon has only just clocked 1000ks since rebuild on E85. Will be keepin a close eye. Cheers for info
  3. I support this thread.....but Excuses make good reading....lol
  4. I'm fully against repair by replacement. It's often far more expensive and frustrating. You have covered everything u can do yourself depending on your skills. Leakdown / comp testing can be quite difficult. Time to go see a technician. Often ford techs will be pretty switched on with common probs. Even your tuner can be a worthwhile phone all.
  5. Took bionics advice. Test drove an ecoboost g6 and a ecoboost Mondeo. My father plans to renew his lease so we drove just about every car out there over 27/28th. He was sold on the 210kw sv6 commodore. Now converted to a g6ecoboost Took a g6 ecoboost. Skeptical as we both were.... Was pleasantly impressed. For a 2L to pull that big car how it does and achieve those economy figures is genius. Almost twice the fuel economy ecoboost vs the SV6. Skeptics..... Go drive one! Enough said
  6. +1 great job

DeAls can't be done with out communication. Many shops will talk and are open to a little bartering....

  23. I think my post was misleading The size of the BOV was unable to cope with the boost, as in flow the amount required that's why some elect to run multiple BOV's My BOV was not leaking I just upgraded to a larger unit
