I agree, iv got a 2013 D22 Navara and Nissan are shocking to warranty work compared to ford. Took them 3 months to get a new head unit because a button fell out.

In my opinion once you go brembos you'll be asking your self why you didn't do it earlier. Only downside is they do cost a fair bit more when it comes down to maintenance. Give race brakes Sydney a call and see what packages they can put you together. Oh and they look way better

I live in Perth too mate. Down in Rockingham to be exact.

Cool I'll loosen them up a little and go from there got all new super pro bushes for the front as well. Didn't get anything done today as the poor old dog isn't well and needed looking after.

Cool going to start the rears as soon as this horizontal rain finishes!

Did you find a big difference in them to the standard shocks?

Just got a full set of koni red for my fg sedan. Any down side to running them as hard as they go? Not worried about ride quality just a bit better handling. Also fitted with SSSL rear king spring and SSL king spring

Best Tyre For Wet Weather Handling For Fg?
jacobmitchell92 replied to mike0819's topic in Wheels and Tyres
Invos are the best wet tyre iv ever used. You'll never get full traction in the wet, it's impossible. -
How horrendous is the fuel economy? I'm thinking about throwing atomic 4.5s in my built engine. Will be running E85.

Best Fuel For Stock Fg Xr6T
jacobmitchell92 replied to Ctyjet's topic in Engine Management & Fuel Systems
98 full stop. Plus it works out to be like $2 a tank more -
I leave mine for 3 months at a time when I go away to work, come home and it's fine.

Cheers mate, not very laggy at all, don't get me wrong it's not as responsive as the little standard turbo but it still isn't too bad! And to be totally honest mate I have no idea! All I know is that it's a 66mm wheel with a .7 cover
-
Took it to WAW and ran a 10.448 pretty happy with it for now!!!

Do not use a generic tune!! The tuner of your choice wether it be Monsta Torque or XFT will supply a flash tuner and make a custom tune for it. Generic tunes are like a grenade with the pin removed.

Give Monsta Torque a call and they will look after you.

How To Replace Radiator Support Fg F6 2009?
jacobmitchell92 replied to Knackers's topic in Interior & Exterior Workshop
Yeah mate same part, but I did already have the bumper off and the cooler and pipe work off it. All that had to be done was remove all the other accessories cut the old one out and weld the new in and paint it.- 25 replies

Fg With F6 Turbo With .7 Front Housing
jacobmitchell92 replied to nathanway's topic in Forced Induction Workshop
Surge tank is cheap insurance, most people use them because they are tried and tested and proven that you need one. I will admit the 044 pump is very noisy but there are many other options of pumps out there that are been used -
Fg With F6 Turbo With .7 Front Housing
jacobmitchell92 replied to nathanway's topic in Forced Induction Workshop
I'd be going Id 1000 injectors straight out, but running a powerful e85 tune without a surge tank is pretty risky. If you can't afford a surge then you cannot afford a engine rebuild. -

Iv got the 0.7 cover with a 66mm wheel built by Monsta torque and I'm making 480rwkw on E85 it still has some left in it. With this set up I ran a 10.755 but that was with a little bit of wheel spin. Was hoping to head down tonight again but it'll be rained off. On 98 I made 410rwkw on 17psi and I couldn't get it into the 10sec (only tried one night) -
Yeah mate I had that with mine, give Kev from process west a call and he has replacements for free which are slightly different design.
-
E85 around the 19-20l per 100km

From what iv seen they are hit and miss. If you need the turbo to last because you are bank rupt then it'll blow. If you have all the money in the world it'll most likely last forever.
