looking for around 500-520rwkw, run a 9s pass then, time for a bigger turbo. Still unsure which one yet, but im thinking a Precision pt7675 or a GTX4202 with a tial v band rear housing.
just spoke to two dealers near my area and they both said they wont touch anything on my car cause its tuned, not that the tune stops them they just dont do it out of principle.
Gday everyone, Any of you out there with the iphone 6 find that it dosnt work correctly when plugged into the ipod plug (even when using the official adapter) Very annoying. Mine will play music like normal for a while then all of a sudden just stop and say not supported. Any advice would be greatful. thanks.
In all honesty the colour screen is worth it big time! Have you looked into the series 2 FG? They all have the bigger touch screen. And auto vs man. Just drive both and see what you prefer, me personally I have the ZF and I like it.
Should be repairable they are getting extremely good with their plastic welding etc. just go see a good panel beater and tell him what he can do for a cash price.
From everything iv read and everyone iv spoke to they reccomend keeping the standard cams unless your chasing dyno power or a true drag car as they cause too much lag. Plus the fuel system has to be way bigger!
Completely agree! It's very easy and if you do a search there is a thread on here explaining how to do it. You will need to get it wheel aligned by a shop though.
They are the wheels I use. Couldn't tell you anything else about them. Although they are 275 on 9.5s. They do require a 2-3mm spacer but this effects nothing as there is plenty of thread left. Also a bolt on the suspension needs to be turned around. IMO it is way easier than having to replace the rear brakes every time you race.
Iv got 74,000 at the moment and been running over 300 for the last 40k. Although It is starting to get the slightest whine in it. Iv been quoted a little over 3k for true trac, new bearings etc and diff bushes.
$1500 for the true trac including fitting and new bushes? Righto. Not too sure where you heard they go single with high power, I'm running 475rwkw and haven't had a problem.
Must have spent all his money on brembos and didn't have the money for brake fluid so used water. Myself and everyone else I know using brembos think they are awesome. Plenty of track cars using them.
Iv got 09 fg in white and it has heaps of rust issues. Ford covered it with warranty and sprayed some crappy rust proofing that looks horrible. When I pull the engine I'll have it all cut back and sealed the way it should have been from the start.
