ive got kpm motorsport half shafts, havent put them in yet so cant comment, but they are rated to 1000fwhp and come with a year warranty. 1700 odd each though

I have asked my tuner to tune the car with the standard ecu, then wire in the autronic and tune with that, but only at 21psi as that's all I want at the moment. if he does or not is another question, but id like to see it..I only have a ba ecu, and they are even worse than the bf onwards ecu...plus im convinved it will help me reach my goal on the strip with the 2 step rev limiter etc. very keen to see what your car makes with 35psi! has it even been done yet?

hey man are you going aftermarket ecu? if so what are you using? im getting an autronic wired in so nothing bad happens at higher boost, apparently standard are sketchy after 28psi...

yeah man its sh*t when I feel like a nuisance dropping in once a week to check up rather than call, and every time nothing has been done and I get given some new excuse...but what im getting done is very straight foreward (not heres 50k and I want 1000hp, do whatever it takes). I did my own research and bought my own parts that I was happy with from reading up (very appreciative of the helpfull people out there that give their valid advice from experience, not because they want you to buy a bunch of gear that they can make more profit on blah blah)...all they are really doing is turning the spanners on the bunch of parts I gave them..and doing the tune. as far as id think (in my own opinion) that's a relatively easy job that the only money fronted by the company is labor...they arent forking out mega dollers for stuff I havent paid for, or doing anything that is unheard of/untested. but yeah just a bit sh*t how it all works and how they can pretty much tell you anything..make sure you are convinced the shop has a good rep if your a step behind me..

I know waiting is necessary, but a decent shop should be able to BOLT ON a turbo kit and fuel system, hook some guages up and do a tune in a few weeks max (all custom piping and exhaust took 3 days). the hardware was allready there...and when you see cars coming and going while yours sits in the carpark in the weather (even sat out in the duststorm and I had to go down and wash it myself after 4 or 5 days), you just cant help but get pissed off. I take being fed bullsh*t very personally and its always next week..next week..and you have to be nice about it so they treat your car with respect and not charge you out of the arse..all good I will just take it to somewhere that has a good reputation..

hey man. nah I have been STUFFED around by the performance shop. cars been gone 8 weeks and has seen the hoist for about 2 weeks max of that. im off for a month now so itll be staying there until I get back. VERY unhappy. ive bought an autronic for the car so I will be getting the car back with the standard ecu tune, probably about 420kw, then get the rear end installed, plus moly cage, transbrake, slicks etc. then I would be rapt if I could trailer it back to cv for some real service, and a killer tune and setup with the autronic...really pissed about the service of the shop and the bullsh*t ive been fed, should of had it back a month ago. cannot speak higher of exhaust innovations though

yeah exact same thing happening with mine, got the bearing changed, then was still doing it. I smashed up a gutter though the first time and must have bent the stub because the new bearing went straight away? when jacked up you could move the wheel sideways about 1-2 inches. lucky I didnt leave it to get tuned without checking, could have been a big problem..

mate im saying its safer for other people. driving a car itself isnt 'safe' if you want to be a granny, bloody LIVING kills you for fks sake. if I want to go out of my way to a industrial estate and have a bit of a fang I think it should be looked on less harshly, and more specifically, police shouldnt go out of there way to get you there. but yeah id LOVE to be able to go to the track every time I feel the desire for some butterflys in my stomach...just not a simple quick fix that it should be

but if they say you were speeding, what are you going to do? pay $2000 for a lawyer to legally tell them that a reference from a speedo is not sufficient evidence. its cheaper to cop it, and its designed that way, plus if you kick up a stink theyll defect you for whatever they want....that's what to expect these days, there are still good cops that do show you the respect you show them, but they seem to be getting diluted by the new recruits that use the power all to excessively imo. I have heard of police targeting external wastegates and screamers, has anybody been done for this? apparently epa fines are pretty serious, has anybody got any real details about epa fines regarding cats? I put a 100cell cat on just so I technically am legal, however I was told if I had a stick put behind the car it wouldnt pass..bit scary as there are so many cops out on power trips these days (protect and serve my hole)

I thought I could drive, smashed it once, still thought I could, smashed it again. now im lucky enough to still be alive and actually still have the car in good nick (fks me how I missed the sh*t I did), but now ive learnt im going to keep it at the track. cars these days are getting way to easy to get power out of its not a good thing really
