  1. hey brandonn where did you get all the bushes for your rear end from?
  2. that's funny as
  3. dont know if it really matters but having it on an angle like that lets the hot side piping go straight down (id say its around 20-30 degrees), as opposed to a 90 degree bend if it has to leave the comp housing perpendicular to the block, if the comp housings straight. typhoon freak..seen ya car at the plaza not bad yourself. will post pictures up of the exhaust next week, damn he does a good job. also got a billet fuel rail from mr parts, are these any good? also thinking of weapon x ignition coils off ebay...anybody have anythign to say about these?
  4. im sure a bit more time will see the extents of the irs. im spending a fair bit on the rear end (cromoly tailshaft, kpm axles, upgraded bushes, diff centre, gears) and im HOPING it will hold together, and get me that 9 but well see. its getting that bulletproof combo that's the hard part:P
  5. good stuff! ill definately have to wait to get the slicks on or itll be all over the shop, ill miss this one but hopefully be good to go in a month. still need to get 90/10s in the front and if that doesnt crack a 9 will have to get radical. how often are they on? every 2nd wednesday or something?
  6. like the transam but over the turbo...or two rows of te louver style in the pic. my uncles got some punched up his xr8 bonnet and it looks wicked without lookin wanky, but I want to do something, I think the gt42 and the larger manifold will create alot of heat
  7. be a shame to wreck the car with a gay japanese style bonnet, I was going to get 2 rows of loovers punched in the bonnet above the turbo, or a reverse scoop up the turbo side like the old 301 turbo v8 transams. that would do the job I think
  8. yeah theres hoping! but I think my driving skills will be the missing link
  9. I will definately go if I get my rear end done in time, and get the calipers milled for the slicks etc. very keen to see what my car will run
  10. is that a vband clamp on your compressor wheel? just went down to check mine out, he tells me garrett doesnt even make vband clamps for the outlet!!!!!!!! so he is getting a custom one made up at a machine shop...is that how you did it?
  11. haha nothings known about these extreme cars that's why theres not many of them
  12. yeah man in general car talk 'my build to 9 sec pass' or something like that
  13. a 5' 100cell cat is no good after 420kw you say? might have to bash it through then:P
  14. yeah best looking wheel. I snapped 3 up for 600 in bad cond and sent them to wheel repair shop and after heeps of stuffing around had a set in mint cond for 1800. toughest looking wheel you can get imo. I squeezed kumho 285 semis underthe back (on 10" wide rims), real happy with how it turned out looks pumped! lucky you got them in good cond cos wait time for parts from roh is atleast 10 weeks...rediculous
  15. cheers. ill post some pictures of the exhaust later in the week, brian also did hiro f6 ute, bloody wiz with the tig welder! hes also cutting the vband flange off the comp wheel and custom making the hot side piping in 3in. also cutting the pw 4 inch pod intake and replacing it with 5 inch pipe straight to the compressor inlet, so itll be interesting to see how how goes with that! fuel system and tuning next week hopefully..
  16. too right he changed the philosophy of martial arts and self defence forever. cant stand people who argue which is the best style...id train jeet kune do still if I had the chance....damn pma
  17. he said they are pretty useless as far as controlling emisions go and would be illegal if they went over your car..
  18. few pics I took today. going with a tig welded stainless 4" exhaust with 2 mufflers, a 100cell 5inch cat and twin 3inch dumps out the back
  19. I sure hope its loud I just told the exhaust shop to put a 5in 100cell cat in mine:P
  20. like bruce lee said, use no way as way use no limitation as limitation, be like water my friend:P haha
  21. jeet kune do or mma both are a good mix of a few styles. striking is where its at but that's just my opinion. trained a few styles and learning a routine where you do this when he does that then he does that and you do this..is bulsh*t and boring. you learn from free sparing imo, only get that with mma, kickboxing and boxing, that's where the sport is, not learning a sequence of moves
  22. I bought my car with a turbo400 chev box in it and 3500 stall, receipt says 10k worth from c&v. been very solid so far and cops all the abuse. b&m quickshifters are a bit impractical for the street but great when you boot it
  23. few pics from etm showing the quality of his work
  24. wicked stuff, are you using standard ecu when you put 30lb through it?
  25. haha your not wrong there!
