Ha yeh the sensors do leak mate, found out that way back in 2010 on my FG F6 310

wind her out, buzz in a new one for $40 or bang a bolt in it instead as they only send the ECU a signal to bump idle speed by 50rpm when activated so basically not a thing that’s important so ditch it ;)

That's exactly what I'm thinking about doing! :)

Just been trying to find the thread size, but I'll just take it with to Bunnings or sca to find out. I think it's metric.

So weird that the sensor leaks! Really weird

@JETURBO Yea I mean the sensor is quite old so I suppose it shouldn't be too surprising. Just never seen it before.

Do you happen the know the size of the thread off the top of your head? Haven't had much luck yet finding out online.

Ummm dunno lol, can’t be sure right now but you’ll more than likely have one that will fit as it wasn’t that special

Picked up a bolt today. Sensor thread is a 3/8" UNF. Imperial GARBAGE! 🤣

Cut the bolt down to size and wizzed it in there with some thread sealant. It doesnt leak, but to be on the safe side I'ma get a copper washer and put that in there too as an extra precaution :)
