I work nights/sleep days.

Medical appointment this morning meant minimal sleep.

I actually left on time for once, instead of cursing and leaving too late.

A few hundred metres up the road, and the FPV Tornado ran out of petrol.

Said it had 12km left.

Lying bastard.

Book taxi, go home, get jerry can. I used the last spare petrol in my pressure washer last night.

Off to servo in taxi. Obsessively careful putting petrol in jerry can so that there's no petrol smell in taxi.

Got ute running. 40 minutes late to medical appointment.

Bugger.

Hope you don't have any crap in the injectors now, given the ute (I.e.: fuel tank) has sat around for a while

Not to mention water etc.

Oh that must be why I flog my car all the time...keeps water vapour from building up. I'm so smart!

wouldn't the fuel filter keep all the crap out of the injectors?

It won't keep the water out, but at least most of the crap in the tank?

I preferred my idea

Fiddling around fixing a couple of little oil leaks on the daily,was dropping oil on the floor at idle. Appeared to be the oil pressure switch or possibly cam sensor seal orings.

Replaced both,test ran still leaks.

Left over night checked again this morning no leaks....wtf
