I got the attention today that I'd been craving, so all is happy again now. 1

When I went to the X-ray and ultrasound people they were so damn rude, told me there was nothing wrong, my ankle didn’t even look swollen and my reconstruction appeared to be the same type as pro athletes have and scoffed that it wasn’t required (little so they know at the time I was a pro basketball player).... anywho... told nothing was wrong and moved along. That week I drank a few cups of concrete and went to work and climbed a 3m platform ladder over 450 times in two days... wondered why I was still in agony but sucked it up... got a call the the next week from my foctor who said a senior specialist had re-evaluated my scans and they found a tiny avulsion fracture (where the ligament pulls away a piece of the bone). Now or I finally get my hands on the report and it’s more along the lines of... nearly 1cm of bone was ripped away during the sprain and required medical attention and major rest period for recovery... and I wonder why it still in pain now from August. 😒 Edited 04/02/19 01:04 AM by Miss Cornwall 1

Ummmm not exactly... during the scan the scanner called a specialist (in his 60s) in who litterally mocked me and said I was being dramatic, and there was nothing wrong... then it took a ridiculous amount of time to notify me of any actual injury therefore causing me to injure it further. 1
