Open one up and see what you are trying to lubricate. Then get back to me. Does more harm than good. May as well squirt the WD up you arse.

I like my boost control to be of the temporary hydraulic variety.

If it doesn't move and it should, WD-40 (or a more appropriate silicon lubricant, probably)... if it does move and it shouldn't, duct tape!

I tried this method and it didnt do any notable difference, I don't mean any dis respect I'm just putting in my 2 cents.

New one from ford for a FG xr6 turbo was $52. Got it the other day and drives a lot smoother. Don't see the point in doing maintenance when you can just replace it.
