Sounds like a truck

That's the thing.. I have another recording which makes it sound like a Massey Fergison.

Depends on the recording device I used and what speakers you hear it thru..

True.. I tried it through my Boston Accoustic 5.1 surround - sounds horrible

Tried it through my Sennheiser headphones - this confirmed it sounded horrible.

It even has a little fart when you turn it off.. lol

Have you got sound clips before you ruined your exhaust sound?

Be careful how you set it up or all you will do is suck in hot air from the engine bay.

Driving it round this-morning I was nearly going to turn around and fit the muffler back in. In the arvo, wasn't half bad, except for the crackle on decel.. That I'm not keen on at all..

I'll see if the things pulls any more HP on the dyno tomorrow, then I might keep it on for the drags tomorrow night.. If it sounds horrible at full load on the dyno, I'll turf it!!

Cat is not going back in, short term anyway..

I'll try and get some dyno runs on vid.

And yeah, the f@rt when switching off isn't pretty.........

The wog has a nifty setup which uses factory parts from other Ford models. It's nice and sealed under there when finished..
