    Vic - Night Cruise

Seems like a decent cruise list. Count me in!
  2. they look nice. But theres no poll option for "buying japanese/euro instead of poor quality and lack of features built Ford falcoons"
  3. Unlike you, I dont spend my entire time on a forum. There is so much dribble and crap in posts, I generally dont read 95% of the threads here. Yes there are plently of options and im after people who have been to other companies.. Afterall isnt this what these forums are for? To get a general consensus on whats good and whats not? The only reason this thread is 'getting out of control' is because you cant hold back your e-mucho and give a valid opinion.. Or the fact you feel you HAVE to reply to a thread you never intending on giving feedback to..So how about you f*ck off in general and stay out of this thread if you havent nothing of worth inputting. Its not about 'growing balls and speaking with him'. Its the fact I personally dont wish to take my car back to him.. Hence the thread about asking for a tuner that is willing to work with the customers needs. Please learn to read and comprehend what im asking.. otherwise shutup. Wasting forum space is you replying to this thread for the sake of making a reply that has nothing to do with this thread.
  4. I dont see what the issue is here with my questions? Im after a tuner that is more customer focused and willing to tune the car to my specific purposes. Not a vendor verdict. Those of you who have pm'd me.. Thank you.
  5. I dont wish to return to this tuner as my car wasnt treated how I would have liked it to be when he was testing it. For example - flatshifting through gears and generally wasting my tyres while 'live testing' the tunes.. The tuner is Dynowog. I am exercising my customer rights of going elsewhere. I just would like to go to a tuner that will treat the car with respect aswell as listen to what the customer actually wants rather than doing what they want.
  6. Hi All, I know this is going to cause a few issues between rivaling companies. The problem I have is I have received a custom tune which im not at all happy with (this was months ago).. I really dont wish to go back to this tuner as I dont feel its in the best interests for my car - this company is only about big dyno figures... Also the way its been tuned is kind of stupid, it boosts up to 15psi @ 3000rpm on take off, which is dumb for a 6 speed manual as all you get it loads of wheelspin. What im after is a company that can show me how and why they have tuned my car in a specific way. eg afr graphs that are showing a safe tune aswell as showing me that my valve springs arent being maxxed out etc etc.. Im not after massive amounts of power, im after a safe tune that has some additional poke. If you wish to reply but want to stay anonymous, can you please PM me with your opinions. Thanks in advance. Bain
  7. Centre muffler removed (replaced with twin hot dogs) - outside sound clip. http://members.optusnet.com.au/miltonf/car...ovedoutside.wmv Center muffler removed (replaced with twin hot dogs) - inside sound clip. http://members.optusnet.com.au/miltonf/car...movedinside.wmv Car was stock. Hotdogs were 2 days old.
  8. The rims and car look nice. As other have said, lower it.. Also, remove the poxxy chrome 'enchancements' from the guards.. Looks like a grandpa did that..
  9. Its more so that the fans engage earlier rather than waiting to get to the 'optimal temperature' So all the lower temp thermo does is engage the fans earlier.. I guess it would be useful in the summer if you thrash the crap out of your car all the time.
  10. Throttlebody is clean as a whistle I cleaned that out thinking the butterfly was getting stuck. I'll be sticking the stock tune for the car back in and replacing the spark plugs to see if this is the cause. (90% sure it is) Ill reply here at the end of next week with what I find.
  11. Yeah, mine was a custom tune. I have returned the car to stock and it still happens, which I guess is pointing to the spark plags being gapped to much? or arent all the same..
  12. Hi All, Just wondering what could be causing the following issue? Ive had my car tuned and the spark plugs replaced - since the tune though, sometimes my car will drop below 500rpm when slowing down then kick itself in the guts and take it up to 1000rpm, then back down to 500rpm and so on and so on until the car is standing still. Some days it doesnt do it at all.. Im just wondering if this could be a spark plug issue? The other query I have is in regards to valve springs.. How do I know when these are being pushed harder than they should? The car seems to struggle once it gets to around 4k rpm onwards, almost like it plateau's... Its a 6 speed manual if that will help. Thanks for any info you may have. Bain
  13. Check to make sure your exhaust is fitted correctly. It may be hitting on the cross member where the diff is..
  14. Chrome rims on white cars dont look all that good. My rims were 19's.. The ones you put on look like theyd be 22's....
  15. Dead centre, at wheel height - easy for photochopping or slight angle.
