you can buy a service manual on cd on ebay.I think it will be in there.I have one,and I will check later.I paid $15.00 dollars for this cd.it has over 2000 pages of info(heaps).

did you mean at full throttle or cruising? I hate the auto downshift back to 3rd at around 140 in perfomance mode.it unsettles the car if you are cornering hard. I think mine changes up at aound 190-200 at 100% throttle.about 150-160 when cruising.

they would make small adjustment to fuel and timing maps.this may mean you need to run premium unleaded. auto firmness and shift patterns may also be changed.

should not delete tune.maybe mechanic made a mistake.was it at ford,maybe they flashed the car back. more likely the mechanic left something unplugged.ask him to check his work,he should have no problem with this if you tell him your concerns.

DONT USE SYTHETIC OIL THIS EARLY ON.let it run in first.maybe 15000. most oil companys make mineral 10w30 oils like valvoline lo-vis oil. im sure mobil and shell make them too.try Repco or supercheap. I went from non turbo ba mk1 to turbo ba mk1.never looked back. both were auto utes the same color.much happier 2nd time round. nothing wrong with non turbo though. im sure the bf would be better than thran the ba as far as noise goes. did you enquire about insurance on a turbo.I think mine was an extra $600 a year. a lot of money but definatly worth it. I dont think it is worth moding a NA.I think if you get into that frame of mind you will end up lusting after a turbo.enjoy what you have-a very nice car.

I use castrol formula R 0w40 full synthetic. mineral oil for running in. formula r is now called edge. it seems to work for me.I change it every 7500km.my engine is spotless inside.

SELL THE CAR!!! I have had a spider living in my passanger side door mirror from new.06/04. every week or two I wash off the cobwebs and the next day they are back,garenteed. I have never seen this spider in almost 2 years. sneaky barstard!!!

fusion make a 5X7 split that will fit in the doors quite well.I have these and they are ok. I brought new a pillar covers from ford with the grills for the tweeters in them,like a premium sound set up. these were quite cheap at around $30 each from memory.I mounted the fusion tweeters behind these grills so everything is hidden. or you could just buy the covers and tweeters from ford,this may be cheaper than the fusion splits.

a freind of mine received a camera fine a couple of weeks ago.(victoria) 106 in a 100 zone. he went to the infringment office to see the photo. he saw the photo and it had 2 other cars in it. he was told they only take 1 photo. he decided to contest the case and sent in the paper work to go to court. he then receives photo in the mail. gues what,his car is the ONLY car in the photo. he goes back to revenue office and asks to see the origanal photo. his car is the only one in the photo and was told again they only take one photo. sounds to me like the photo was edited to suit their case. he is still going to contest this. good luck I reckon. So look out.the cops have edit too!!!!!

gee you guys.just a simple hand brake adjustment has everybody worked up. any mechanic worth 2 cents should be able to adjust a handbrake.no tsb's needed. I read the ford service manual fo ba handbrake adjustment.total bs.too complex. is there more to this issue that I missed.from what was described it sounds just like hand brake adjustment. piece of cake.10 min tops.including lifting the car.
