I know on the bf's the alternators switch on and off as required by battery voltage.this is to help reduce emmisions by creating less drag on the motor. My question is how boes this effect performace of the electrical systems? Because an alternator charges at 13.8volts A battery runs around 12volts. Now if the alternator switches off (like the bf's does) wouldn't this leave you with just 12volts. would this be enough to effect performance of things like headlights,stereos,ignition systems,fuel pumps ect?

other things to consider 4 Tyres-$2000.00 maybe more $1000 for cheap tyres from China. front brake pads $700.00 ? premium fuel only-always 10 cents a litre more insurance cost? servicing costs.do you want synthetic oil.$80-$200 for oil only. Stress.where do you park when you want to pop into the supermarket?you will park in that spot that is miles away,garantee when you come out 5 min later there is 1 or 2 cars next to you. driving in steep driveways will also be a pain in the rear.

A mate had his factory BA 18's knocked off.they also damadged the car by dropping it on the ground when finnished.also damage to door and around door to get in.Easy to get into,hard to steal. They also did his neighbors SS ute on the same nite.Quite street in a nice area.

I dont think this is such a great result.I'm sure the car is great to drive but I have seen this sort of figures from stock cars tuned by nizpro(manual 271rwkw-auto255rwkw)with edit only.you have all these other mods for 20kw?

The Festiva is my sisters if you must know, and yes she has often missed services on the car, that is why the sump is full of sludge and the oil pick up to the top of the motor is blocked and making lots of lifter noise. I reakon the turbo Terri will be more like 20litres per 100km

what about C+V performance(I think that is thier name)they were doing good work up your way 12 months ago.are they still around?

I dont think they would bother unless you compained about something like stalling.they dont have the time.15000k will just be an oil change and a quick check over.

the BF 6 speed auto has grade logic which will drop down gears when decending to apply more engine braking.samrt idea IMO.

what sort of economy figures do territorys get in real life? On the highway? Rwd or AWD? around town? SX or SY model. I am doing a trip around most of OZ next month and would like to know what to expect.

I understand the concept of a concentrate,but most coolant concentrates are about 98% ethyle glychole and recomend mixing at 33-50%.numbers dont add up IMO.it must use a differant base ingediant.it sounds more like a corrosion inhibitor.usually add about half a litre off these.does it raise the boiling point and lower the freezing point? do you know more about stray currant?

I think if you flash it back to stock it will erase any error codes.

if you know something I dont(im sure of it) please tell us.it will probably be helpfull one day.

can iridiums cause damage in any shape or form?? to coil packs etc?? someone mentioned that one tuner had said they dont work properly as they are a resistor plug?? (read this in another post) ← The stock plugs are iridium! ← correct
