we were robbed a few years ago and fortunatly for us the only things that were taken were either listed on our insurance policy or we still had receipts for waranty purposes (ipods dvd player that sort of stuff) It is a surreal feeling knowing that somebody has gone into your house when you are not home.. and in your case I take it you were at home (being 3am) when the pricks came in and that must be an even stranger feeling!

you dont see any stories of 5 speeds being rebuilt!! when (not if) they break its replaced with a T56 (6 speed manual) and will set you back about $6k+ do yourself a favour spend a little extra now and get a 6speed and save yourself the headache later ..

you dont need to retune, just reflashing the tune that is in your box will do. saying that it is worth sticking your car on a dyno every now and then just to make sure all is well. I dont think I have been to a dyno day yet where somebody has not come up with an issue.. As for retunes, taking your car to your tuner atleast once a year just to have it checked would be wise, upto them then as to if it is worth retuning or not.

kinda true, it does exist but is hardly a "major problem". adaptive learning is a feature of the ecu to give you better fuel economy and keep the tune safe based on the current fuel. It can get nasty in tuned cars where it will constantly pull out timing meaning cars loose power, its rare for it to be noticable but and can be turned off by your tuner but most dont recomend it as it is a saftey feature.

the F6 x was never going to be a big seller. The rest of the article is what FPV should have been doing for years. Generally speaking, 260-290 is what the stock injectors will make.. a very very few claim to have gone over 300, whilst they might have done so they are not doing so with just a cooler and tune. Fuel pump I am running 330rwkw. There are a few cars running ever so slightly higher then this, but really it should be done at 300rwkw
