for our year 12 muckup we bricked up the teachers common room door (at 7pm the night before so it would harden), looked funny as hell but was rather easy to demolish, we had a stern warning that muckup day would not be tollerated, but even the principal laughed at this because it looked funny without costing anything to fix... makes glueing the lock look like kids play There was also the girls school down the road.... all gates to the school were locked, it took a gas torch to open the school up and let all the girls in very funny... but it has to be co-ordinated and executed just before school starts, we used a couple of D style bike locks blow up dolls and toilet paper are good laughs during any assemblies over the day that you might have.

ha funny that, this toppic got me wondering, exactly how cheap the commy is, The US GTO is about 68% of the price for a Monaro, Gov discount on a 6T is about 70% of the price, pitty the Expensive Daewoo list doesnt have a lease price for a Monaro, would be interesting to see. One magor thing to also look at is the margins required for a car to be profitable, the more you make the cheaper you can make them, Australia has a very high model turnover rate compared to most of the world yet we only sell a drop in the ocean compared to the rest of the world... we are extremely lucky to have the falcons and commies full stop, let alone at the price range they are in.

It is actually if you pass the detector after .4 of a second after the light has turned red, if you go screaming thrue on ambers and just as you hit the intersection the light turns red then you should still be safe, in your case you are 100% fine somebody said there was 3 photos, I am only aware of two that get taken, one is a close up at the rear of the car to get a clean photo of your licence plate, the second is a wider angle shot of the entire intersection, this should show the slow moving garbage truck and therefore be evidence that you did not "run the red" if you get the fine, ask for the photos and write a letter explaining what happened.

have any of you guys ever seen the govenment lease prices on a XR6T? The govenment can sell them second hand for almost more then they buy them for.. and that's after 2yrs or 40k

I did a defensive driving course late last year, They said that normal tyres should be atleast 36 prefferably 40, low profiles should be atleast 40 prefferably 45, if you have ever seen the cross section of a low profile tyre you would understand why (they are very thin on the sides) It was actually suggsted that the lkower pressure be used for suburban driving and the higher pressure be used for freeways as it keeps the tyres cooler... dunno how true that is

Nankangs are a cheap tyre, for day to day traffic they are good, if you want to get a little adventurous you might want to watch it as they dont have a very good reputation for there handling.
