My experience with a car allowance is that you use that allowance to do a novated lease on a car to use for business purposes. You can get a reps car like a corolla or get a mans car like xr6t. Ute is best for tax purposes. My FG2 6T ute is novated lease. Best check with the company as to what they mean when they say "car allowance".

I can only see it causing errors if the front and rear diameters vary in size too much. Mine supposedly have a 3% variance and I have no problems.

Oh hahaha yeah that was me ! My first and only run in the car was a 13.3 something in manual mode changing at 5500 (on the tach anyway) with only a little stall and wheelspin in first so there's a bit to come from it still. The missus got down to 13.66 @165ks in Drive (perf) without any stalling up, just plant the boot, got a decent amount of wheel spin in first once it got some boost up so that didnt help. Funniest run was when she accidentally put it into first and bashed the rev limiter for about forty metres before I realised WTF was going on and hit the lever for second ! Actually it was all that funny at the time :(

Yes. I plan to be there. Was meant to go last Wednesday but the boss's new Kwaka was ready on Wednesday so we went out riding instead. Look for a dark charcoal FGII ute with mags, guages on the dash and an ANDRA sticker on the back window.

Looks like I'm taking the wife down to WAW this week to ride as a passenger in the ute. She's hoping to have a drive as well. Better not be quicker than me or she'll be sleepin' on the couch !

Does anyone have a FG MKII Falcon and live SOR? I want to trial fit a dash mat and take some measurements in a stock car so I can cut the new mat to suit my ICC mount gauges. Take 10 minutes.

Yeah there's different shades of illegal tint. My VE has real dark tint, never had trouble from the filth but it can be a pain in the ring in dark streets turning into driveways or just on some intersections. Usually cured by winding windows down. My T ute also has illegal tint but not as dark and I don't have the same problems, even though its still too dark by law.

You might recall the bike I finished a little while back. Finally got it onto the dyno on Friday and finished up at a nice, safe 215hp. There's still more in it with timing adjustments but its a good starting point. Only at 7psi so far and the big injectors are not even breaking a sweat. 300+ is definitely looking possible if I go to the next level and open up the motor for big rods and pistons later on. via @youtube

I think you should also note that there's a marked difference between xr6t and f6 in the amount of horsepower you get from just a tune. My fg2 xr6t ute has only a tune and is around 260rwkw. The f6 has bigger bits in it and will allow you to reach a higher output.

So how do you get a tune into the car if you can't run it up on the dyno ?

Yeah 16th is good. I may be stuck on a dyno with my bike though, but if not, I should be there.

I always liked the look of those cougars, I'll be keen to see how this comes out.
