I had some aftermarket coils that only lasted 6 months. Went to genuine and all good. I think its prety hit and miss with the aftermarket ones

I had a look at one today and they seemed pretty good, better than my Ba but not as good as the Bogan special , still after looking at the car I'm sold on one and cant believe I considered the ss tbh. The car was mint today, only thing I wasnt sure of was a ticking at idle. The owner said it was injectors but I'm not 100% sure. Should it put me off the car even though its got 3 years warranty left?

Mate you'd be surprised how much tighter and better your car will feel if little things like the diff and boost solenoid are up to scratch. Get the car up to a level where everything works as it should and any niggling issues which may have been patched before sale can be sorted. When it comes down to it I'd much prefer a stock mint xr6t to one with 300rwkw that's hitting boostcut and pissing diff oil. You'll be much happier in the long run. Also I had a hyundai when I was 16 #cosfailatlife

Hi, Bit of background info. I have a Ba xr6t with the full leather seat option and have found that the seats have 'softened up' quite a bit over time. This usually wouldnt be a problem but due to a protruding disc neck injury and lower back injury (kinda embarrassing for a 22 year old hah) from league I've found that over long trips I end up in quite a bit of discomfort. This is mainly due to the softness of the seats I believe as I'm fine in firmer seats. I test drove a fully optioned Bogan special (dont kill me people) and found the seats to be excellent, much firmer and more supportive than my current car. My question is do the G6Et seats hold up over time or will they soften up like my current Ba seats. I'm 50-50 between the two cars at the moment to be honest so any input would be appreciated. Was driving through blackheath on the way back to Sydney today and saw a purple ba xr6 (not sure if turbo) drive past with led daytime running lights (E3 HSV style) and angel eyes headlights but the worst thing was instead of a ford badge on the front grill it had the mustang horse. I reckon its as bad if not worse than chev badges on a 6 cyl vn commo. Opinions?

Yeah its cheaper to buy already built than do it yourself but you dont know if its been done dodgy or not.

Yeah but that brazilan thing has not at all been reported properly. Not that I'm defending what they did but he was not posing no risk. I have a friend who attended the call and was on the scene and the guy was being incredibly violent to police officers and resisting arrest. Its not as if they walked up to him, said stop then tazered him. Still the guy who tazered him 5 times when he was on the ground handcuffed is getting sacked but definitely deserves criminal charges
