I am hitting the strip with mine tomorrow night at the drags, will let you know how it handles a few launches.

I wouldnt be concerned, speak to ratter (Mick from Pitlane) they have these in a few cars down Victoria way holding alot of HP without any dramas. I would buy mine again in a heart beat its been zero fuss !

Nope not taken my to the drag with this combo yet, but it handles 450KW on the road no worries, tows the odd tonne or two and the second 400kw tune cops a hiding and has zero dramas holding the power. So easy to drive both my sister and my mother have driven it without any problems. I had been planning on taking it ot the drags last year but never happened.

I have this clutch and had it for 2 and a bit years now, 50K on it already with 400KW + since day one. Drives just like the factory clutch only, same pedal feel and pressure and handles some balls. Doesnt mind the old clutch kick every now and then, going strong. There are a few lads down there in VIC running them so getting a ride shouldnt be too hard.

where would you purchase said quick disconnect from?

Allows you to bleed the clutch. The standard one drops fluid in the bellhousing and an asshole to get to, remote bleeder sits on the side of the box and allows you to access and bleed the clutch effortlessly.

I have a malwood opt 3+ car makes 450rwkw clutch has shown zero issues and has about 50k on it fg mk1 by the way. Clutch is rated to 410kw and cost me 1850, I recommend if you do change your clutch get the remote bleeder, I didn't and I am pissed I didn't. I don't however clutch kick it, the wheels spin on their own under boost.

Grab 2 saw horses and some blankets and lay you front bar on that, as said above just take your time and read the instructions twice, do the job once.

throw a gauge onto it, set the base pressure to 58psi and you will be golden. Did the same thing on my ute, no worries at all

Mate mine does the exact same thing, if you apply the brake on the opposite side it will lock they will both spin in the same direction.

Is this on the passenger side rail near the fuel filter? or near the tank? Trying to figure out where to locate mine

Use some aero and channel the air around the bar? I would think that would be an easy option. If you cut that bar It would just be asking for trouble.

Not heard anything bad about KPM injectors, they will only be as good as your tuner lets them be. I would definitely be going 1000cc. Initially I was only going to do a cat and a tune, 450kw later I am still doing things to it and the injectors arent holding me back yet

just one thing to add, dont buy chit 1000cc injectors, spend the money and get the good gear, make sure they are a good brand and come with flow data and your tuner is familiar with them, I am speaking from experience.

Can anyone tell me where I can get Lucas Safeguard from? Need to grab some. Also anyone know where I can get 044's cheaper than $185 a piece, One of mine is on the way out and I figure its safer to replace two than just one. Its making a horrible noise and is loud as hell, the car has been parked.

How are Process west's new external fuel systems for noise with the internally mounted fuel pumps? I have 2 044's external surge and they arent what you would call quiet, inside the car, stereo takes care of that noise, but externally people always tell me there is something wrong with my car at lights due to the noise they hum out. I havent heard much about the KPM twin in-tank setup but that might be an option for you in terms of noise reduction.

Not used springy motors but I have used Pitlane and drove over 1000kms to get my work done by them, and will be doing another trip down there next year for more of the same. Their pre and post sales service is second to none. Ring Bel/Mick and have a chat.

I just swapped from twin 2.5inch to single 4" with 4" dump and cat and its really not that much louder than my twin 2.5 xforce exhaust. I dont like the outlet, if I could get single 3.5inch with twin outlets I would., single 4inch doesnt look as good in my opinion as the twin outlet for not attracting attention.
