I recently got an xtreme clutch kit put in My Falcon and the kit came with a new concentric slave cylinder, I am wondering whether the t5’s have a release bearing seperate to the CSC and if so then they re used the old one or whether the new CSC comes with an integrated release bearing? Can anyone clarify this please? kit was KFD26690-1A

Hey lads and ladies (maybe) So I've met my first power goal of 500hp and am in need of a new clutch very soon as I only have the stock FG F6 one. Any advice on clutches I should be considering???? my next power goal will be the 700hp mark so want something that's not going to clap out and take a beating but still relatively light for city driving. My mate will be putting the EXEDY DEVIL CLUTCH (ceramic and organic) in his XR6T which is pushing 700hp and he said he'll be able to get this for cheap through the business for me. Has anyone got any experience with EXEDY??? if so any info would be much appreciated and prices etc..... also any advice on mechanics in Brisbane to do the labour. Cheers Chad

ba xr6t is very hard to get into gears when cold, gearbox sometimes has a slit grinding nose when I push the clutch in and it shakes the middle of the car and grinds a little bit but once warm normally drives find. Has had a new master cylinder has been bled a few months ago. also sometimes when starting up when even warmed up wont always turn over. sometimes aswell the reverse lights don't work but only seem not to work when I can actually get the car into gear.

Hi guys, Need some help please! I have a 2007 BFmk2 FPV Tornado Ute, 6 speed manual. I had my clutch replaced over 18 months ago and since have had problems with the clutch pedal losing its pressure, its current got about 75mm of free play before it begins to engage and moves the clutch, and when I say free play I mean its basically floppy. So now I cant even get my car into gear because the pedal wont move the clutch enough. At first I though it was a slave cylinder issue but it seems to be just something out of place. I do recall hearing about an issue with a spacer needing to be put it when replacing from a standard factory clutch. Has my mechanic forgotten to do this? Has anyone experienced a similar issue?

Can anyone tell me if a 2004 BA Falcon XR6 Turbo has a single mass flywheel or a dual mass flywheel? I'm replacing the clutch and need to know if I can get the flywheel skimmed or if I need to buy another flywheel (or convert to single mass)! Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I am after some help on how to remove the clutch fluid line from a BF 6speed manuel. Can be removed from master cylinder side easily but unsure on how to remove it from off the slave cylinder inside the bellhousing whithout pulling the box out? I am thinking maybe there is a specialist tool like a crows foot 90degree socket or something? Surely someone has done this before? or can the line be removed at another location? Thanks

Hi guys, I'm new here and only just bought myself an BA XR6T ute 3 weeks ago. Lately have noticed the clutch might be on the way out (currently in shop getting checked) I was wondering what type of clutch I need to use in it? Does it have to be a twin plate? Any advice would be great. Currently got 270kw at the wheels. Cheers Jack

Hey guys, At 70k, I find my clutch is getting very lazy and the friction point is pretty much at the very top of the pedals pivot now, even slipped pretty hard with a second gear clutch kick. Im not chasing big power, probably won't even get an edit, but I do like to give the car/clutch a hard time with some fun so I don't think another stock clutch will do. So I'm looking to hear what you guys are running in your manual Fg 6 speed manuals. What kind of power you making, what kind of clutch have you got and its power rating and what you spent on it if you guys don't mind? Joe.

Hey Guys, just wondering if anyone could give some reccomendations / opinions on NPC clutches. In the process of choosing either NPC or Malwood. Have only ever heard good things about Mal's clutches, but not so many ppl talking about NPC. Wonder if anyone has any thoughts or utilised? Im planning on making roughly 350rwkw.

My FG XR6T has been having clutch issues for some time. It is now slipping but ford have indicated that it is wear and tear.............. I suspect that the clutch slave cylinder has been faulty, and has cuased the clutch to slip. At times the pedal has stuck down for a few seconds, resaulting in the pedal hitting me in the bottom of the foot. Any one else had issues with slow pedal relaes?
