  1. Good on ya guys. I don't own the Xcal 3. I was thinking that I was being helpful. Freeze have you ever heard the term "don't shoot the messenger". Cheers
  2. Was sent this alert this morning. I'm wondering why you shouldn't update. As have clearly stated all Xcal 3's. They normally specify a market designation. So I'm interested to know your take on this. Cheers
  3. Here is the new critical SCT XCAL 3 update link. Cheers http://www.sctflash....news.php?NID=15
  4. Sure can. Cheers
  5. I personally think that being ZF equipped, is what really makes your car very special John, and really puts it in that supercar category. Good luck with it, but I don't think there really is any luck involved anymore. As the R&D has been a long process of elimination. Which I'm sure will give you the results that you are looking for. Cheers
  6. Well Done. Time to ask for some sponsorship. I have added the link. Cheers http://www.nittotire.com/Sponsorship
  7. Go for your life mate. Adding a pod to the factory airbox will not cause you any grief with only a catback exhaust. Cheers
  8. XR6 Turbo plenum/inlet is different. The N/A is equipped with butterflies (internal), to increase low down torque. Cheers
  9. Would you have idle problems with BF as they have .9 gap from factory. Cheers
  10. Just wondering what would be the problem running a stock tune on .8 gapped plugs. Cheers
  11. Mate the risk of damage is 0.00% full stop. ECU has it all covered. Cheers
  12. Good find there. Cheers
  13. Now that's bringing some competition into the market place. The filter may be small, and possibly interchangable with a bigger filter. But at the end of the day the access to clean /replace filter is why this is a clear winner over the stock item in my opinion. Cheers
  14. After trying to do the spoiler legs in Carbon wrap and failing. I decided to throw on some gunmetal grey. Anyway easy job. Initially I taped up as the norm. But in the end, due to the grooving around the legs, I just sprayed away and used petrol to clean up to the edges. Cheers http://s1191.photobu...RearBFII029.jpg
  15. I assume yo are taliking about the box flash tuner. But if not you will find what you need here anyway. As far as running your car on 98 with a Martini Race Fuel (102ron) tune, could end badly. The problem you have is knowing which number tune is the Martini. The logical guess would be the last tune port. Cheers http://www.capa.com....ash_tuner_1.htm

Pretty sure the only difference is the Expensive Daewoo box has smaller input shaft, and taller 6th gear. VE HSV uses TR6060 also.
  17. F6 has bigger/better Turbo, injectors, clutch and brakes. Cheers
  18. Sensational. Cheers
  19. To make the most of your mods (intended), and increase engine durability, and performance, some injectors and an upgraded fuel system should possibly be considered. Cheers
  20. After speaking to Mal Wood I put the Penrite Syn (70W75) oil in, but he recomends Transmax Z. He did say not to put anything thick in it as it will damage ring gears. But I'm talking about T56, the stronger TR6060 ( which incidenty, I was told is the old T56 magnum) I'm not sure about. Cheers
  21. I think this is a fairly common problem with any Tremec box. But don't force it into gear where its crunching. I generally throttle off and wait for it to drop into second when its ready. I live in Queensland were temps don't get down anywhere near the Southern States. Its like it knows its winter, maybe there is some inbuilt fuzzy logic. Cheers
  22. Just replace I say. As they have been making rubber radiator hoses (same material as water line) for a long time now. Further, I am not personally aware of these failing before, but no doubt they will have a used by date similar to radiator hoses. There is aftermarket items, but do a cost/benefit anaylsis first. Cheers
  23. Make sure you thoroughly check the rubber connector between the crossover and throttle body for a split. Means you have to pull it right off. I had the same issue. Cheers
  24. That about somes it up. Capa seem to think that it should work but Im waiting to here back from SCT. Cheers
