  4. just a single knock when initially applying brake
  5. so whats the head lift issues with e85 ? at the same boost will a stock motor have trouble with head lifting compared to 98?? Nice result, might have to throw 20lb into mine and see what it pulls. Ill need clutch and surge first though
  6. well I took the wheels off and it wasnt caliper bolts and I grabbed everything under there and nothing was loose! very wierd
  7. Just wondering what would cause a knocking sound when braking at low speeds (only time I can hear it) in forward or reverse. sounds like it is coming from the front drivers side wheel area. Could it be a loose caliper as I had rotors and pads done 1500 kms ago? any help would be great car is a bf2 f6
  8. if u havent already, throw 4.8l of transmax z oil in it, helps heaps. also rev matching is the way to go for smooth shifts. takes a while to get used to the notchy box and sloppy drive train
  9. or take the xcal to him and tell him to load a temporary tune to suit the 60's and drive it there off boost below 2000rpm.
  10. pretty sure its 170000 and a ex hwy patrol car. Auto built due to milkshake
  11. mod it man, ive got the same car (exactly) and best thing I did was get it tuned, puts a smile on my face every time I drive it (a bigger one then it did when stock)
  12. how much did u get them for all up mate? and what sizes?
  13. u need to run a vacuum hose to the factory sensor that was screwed into your original cooler.
  14. +1 idler pulley or tensioner. change both
  15. I ran 120mph with the same power ..
  16. Would anyone be interested in doing a track day (half day) at eatern creek in the first quarter of next year? Ive just been on the website and its $340 for 6x 20 minute sessions. that's 1-5pm Ever since getting tuned ive been itching to test what my car can do, and would love to do one of these. more info here: http://www.sydneymotorsportpark.com.au/experience/detail/the-ardc-drive-days/1
  17. obviously that's a one off and doesnt happen everyday. honestly when entering a highway I always do about 10km/h over the hwy speed limit which gives u the advantage of going either infront of or by slowing down, behind a car/truck that's traveling on the highway if that makes sense. and in a f6/xr6t that's no problem
  18. most truckies know how to drive though, its the women going to work that cant merge for sh*t that causes the traffic 80% of the time! that's in sydney anyway, where both the m4 and m5 go from 4-2 and 3-2 lanes.
  19. They look awesome, and go so well with the wheels. Like they are one part, and both on display! I want to see a photo with them when you're cruising on the high way
  20. I'd also be interested in how much it would cost roughly, does everyone else have trouble with the front corners bottoming out everywhere. Even on normal driveways! at standard height aswell
  21. throw them on now and see how they grip?
  22. thanks heaps mate, I cant stop looking, and since my car is identical to yours im thinking of doing the same which springs are u running?
  23. looks awesome mate, what widths and offsets are they? also how much did they set u back ?
