Xforce's system does not fit the FG UTE... Well it didnt when I got mine fitted as we had to go for another option. As far as I am aware no one does a 4" single for the UTE.. Unless it is custom made. I had a 4" dump made up to match to a Herrod cat back system (dual 2.5"). Not to loud at all but how well it flows im still unsure of. Car makes just over 300 at 10psi so it cant be that bad..

I dont think there is a set number where your ZF suddenly decides to go ahhhh I need to explode now!! Look at Brians sig, 11.01 on a stock ZF which I assume is well in excess of 350rwkw. It could blow at 300 but could be good to 400. Just be prepared to rebuild it no matter what kind of power you have.

Just out of curiousity, why are the manuals sooo hard to get right?? There are a stack of VE manuals dipping into low 11s and 10s with just an upgraded clutch as well as big power of coarse... There have been breakages no doubt but for so many to work so hard and still not have that 10 under the belt seems rather suprising. Thoughts?

I dont want to start a sh*t fight TAB, but I can honestly say I have never exceeded ANY speed limit by more than say 40kms and that would have been on a freeway and not for a while. Really cant afford to lose my licence or car. Obviosuly still being a dickhead but there is a big difference between 140/100 zone and 160/60 zone...

My god... Why would someone even think about driving at that speed on a public road... I feel very sorry for their families

I paid over 9 for mine and makes around 310rwkw.. But it has all the fruit bar the turbo mods to make 400 going off what a couple of FGs have seen. I have been quoted around another 2k for that but I have not reached the point of bordem yet. Its extremely responsive and super quick on the street. So like the previous poster said, some of us pay more for the same result but we have different things in mind when going down that path. I reckon I could have spent 5k to get the same result but would have had to replace a couple of things to get to that next level which would have costed more.

You can mod these cars no matter how long your money is tbh... The level of modification will be different depending on how much you spend which is obvious. HPF did one of their shows which involved a custom tune on a bog stock FG XR6T... I think it pulled 270rwkw from a base figure of around 230rwkw... At that time they were charging around $750 for the tune. B F Y B

It comes with owning an almost 600hp daily driver mate. Its not always fun but we do it because we love these things... I didnt mean any offense to you or Nat mate was just making it very clear that I doubt it would have been one thing alone that killed your clutch and most certainly not the way you or I ever drove it. It could just come down the fact you have had a few different people driving your car of late and your clutch has taken the toll. I remember the same exact feeling when it still had the T5 and the Xtreme clutch was fukced.. Difference being I blew the gearbox as well LOL

Ye new Fiesta cant be had for anywhere near 15k. Think I have it down to an 08 Swift, brand new Alto or Nissan Micra. The getz looks a little boring... But we are going to a few yards and there seems to be a heap of choice out there.

Hey guys Sister and I are shopping this weekend to get her a small/mid sized car for $15000 or less. Before buying my first T I had the new Swift which I thought was awesome and have suggested that but really dont know what else is out there. Can be any shape, color, tranny whatever!! I didnt think the factory fuel pump could even flow enough volume to produce that amount of HP... Close to 600 I would guess. Not to mention the valve springs, on most cars I have seen, start packing it in at around 300. that's a sensational result mate.

The sound of a V8 is GREAT but that is where it ended for me. Much like you I got over the turbo went out and bought myself a VE Bogan special ... Thing sounded awesome and looked sh*t hot but it was sooooo boring to drive compared to my BA T. I had HUGE plans for the car but after doing the math it would have costed around twice as much to achieve the same result say 300rwkw or 3 times as much for say 400rwkw as what my FG now would. Even at a stock level my new FG is far more enjoyable to drive. In saying that, if I could justify owning both I would but at this point the big Turbo 6 is just far to good to pass up.

Well I hope mine is done now at 5000kms as I had it tuned to 300+ with around 2800 on the clock. The tuner did say it hadnt really been run in yet so I should see a greater figure the next time I have it tuned.
