  1. First choice car upholstery canning vale. 180 bucks he does an awesome job and has factory carpets for a bunch of cars. He's on Facebook
  2. Marco I got one from beaurepairs midland a few years ago after I read jet recommending them.
  3. How much power did you go down with this year? Same speed as last year's 1000m in the 800m is a win
  4. Nice pickup. How's the sound stage go with them that close together? Need the couch like where your coffee table is.
  5. ^Is there any advantage to getting a 4" exhaust over a twin 2.5 if you're not gonna push it to the max? Like say you're going for 400rwkw will you get it a little easier with the 4" or no difference until you're getting to the upper limit of the twin 2.5? I hate drone but also wouldn't wanna waste powers
  6. That's sick. I wonder how clean the audio output is the ford icc is sh*t
  7. Fg. It was on the strip with freshly prepped track and very warm tyres. They still spin on street surfaces without a burn out yeh but so does everything I've used.
  8. 235s are ok if the compound is good. I broke my tailshaft with 235 ar1s
  9. Should be decent then if it's what he recommends. No excuses next time theres racing next then [emoji14]
  10. Just get kings ssl from Ebay they're cheap as and easy to put in yourself. Ssl all around looks good and is pretty low you scrape on heaps of stuff. Sssl would be a nightmare I reckon but each to his own. I actually went back to standard height springs cos I got sick of having to go so slow over speed humps and up driveways etc
  11. Getting something tough this time or more for easy driving?
  12. Bonnet looks good. I wonder if it will be noisy going fast
  13. How do the Falcons go with a flat shift? Never driven a manual one
  14. I've been loving the better cars they build the sh*tty miras and stuff are boring as. They cant do the driveway anymore cos too many dickheads came past while they were filming and hung around did skids stole sh*t etc.. there's a whole write up about it they have done
  15. So was it lean or all good? Mine seemed fine with a bigger cooler and no tune
  16. I've warped a rear set. On a track though. They're perfectly fine for the street
  17. A wise man once said to me "if you cant afford to walk away from its flaming wreck, don't race it".
  18. It's only running 15psi boost and has stock fuel reg as far as I'm aware, setup was installed by tuner. I'll have a look at the wiring when I get a chance but yeah, seems sweet ever since and I never have it flat out for 20 seconds on the street. Just the wiring from the top of the pump module under the seat yeah? Going into fuel tanks is not my thing haha.
  19. Yeah thanks I thought it was pretty unusual cos I still had so much fuel. Thought maybe it was the higher sides of the swirl pot but I guess not The odd thing is though that I filled it up and it was all sweet again Has never happened again since
  20. I have the same big pod with walbro 460 in my car and at racewars it surged on e85 at about 800 meters with the fuel gauge showing a little under 1/3 tank. Are you saying you were doing the 1000m runs with 1/4 tank and no issues? I did a skid first and then launched pretty much straight away so wonder if I just drained the whole pod?
  21. Stock it will be fine and the brakes will be gone looong before anything else. They will limit you very quickly within 2 decent laps. I've done a heaps of track days skid pan days drags etc in mine stock and tuned. Never had a problem other than brakes and a little fuel surge on a wot 1000m run. Standard brakes are way too small for this car. Whatever pads and fluid you use they will still overheat if you're tracking it unless you've upgraded to brembos or something else bigger
  22. that's a serious system. Back when I was installing them (7 years ago) the biggest we ever did was 5kw and it cost them over 30k.They have come down so much in price but so has the feed in tariff
  23. 3kw should do a single guy easy unless you have a pool or something. 6.5kw of panels will need significant amount of unobstructed north (ideally) or east west roof space. That's a lot of panels.
  24. Yeah as arronm said definitely double check that there is no cutting of anything what so ever if that's what you want. I got a "no cut" plaz 800hp cooler and you had to cut heaps of sh*t. Just nothing metal other than a bolt. But there was heaps of plastic to cut out including a big reinforcement bar for the bumper..
