Any of you guys know what integrates well with the Samsung S5? It has a pedometer and all that jazz in it but don't like carrying or strapping the farker on for the morning walk. Have it in the pocket the rest of the day though so it negates the need for wrist-band thingo then.

Hard to help for two reasons.

1. Not sure what your goals are and what features you want.

2. I'm an apple stooge so don't know Samsung.

Having said all that. What Princess Fluffy has seems like a good bit of kit. Plus if we all go Garmin we can all see each other and motivate.

Tab, I got the wife the Samsung Gear Fit at JB Hifi for $149 for Christmas.

Dick smith have them at the moment at that price too. She is happy with the Gear fit and does what she wants.

It integrates into the S health application as well. Easy to connect and setup. If you want to pay more, there is the Samsung gear.

As said above, depends what features you want. if you want the SMS's to come up on your watch, you have to pay for the application to do that.

If you want the calendar to show up on your watch, the app is free. It has built in heart monitor which I find good cause I steel the watch off the misses every so often.

I am looking at getting one second hand from gumtree at a cheaper price.

The thing that would annoy me about the Galaxy Gear is that the battery only lasts a day or 2...great, another thing I need to charge every night...pass!

I struggle to get 10,000 in on a work day becuase I am partly office based and at the moment have heaps of office stuff to do unfortunately. :(

But I am going to start back at the gym since ive been eating heaps healthier too and I will check out how accurate it is on the treadmill aswell.

Definitely happy with the device...

Also on a side note

the calories I burn go up dramatically when I have the heart rate monitor connected.

I think my HR sits higher becuse of the cocaine (probably actually my pre workout)... lolol
