if you're chasing better times than yes, it will help you out a lot. I'm pretty sure the r1 with standard gearing does just over 170km/hr in 1st gear.

I managed to pick up a 17t gear off ebay with less than 1000k for 15 bucks posted. Gunna chuck it on before the next test n tune and see how much of a difference it makes.

My neighbor is selling his KTM

Im so tempted right now,

he is very finnicky about servicing and all that.

He just bought a new KTM, so the old one is going.

Ive got a 8 x 5 trailer with bike channels in it, tie down points, etc......

Go for it

IMHO KTM has been making the best Enduro bikes for at least the last 10 years.

Mines a Husaberg which is essentially a Blue KTM.

Pretty much all of my mates have now started riding KTMs and none of them would go back to Japanese bikes.

The Japanese have a lot of catching up to do.

Rattled the motor on the GSXR yesterday.

Still ran an 8.86 but had to pull out of the meet once I heard the engine noise.

Hoping it's just big ends. Possibly brought on by oil starvation at the hit since I fitted the wheelie bar.

Gave my tuner a chance to say " I told you so" in regards to my data logger that's sitting in his workshop that I decided I wouldn't bother fitting till the off season.... Doh !!

Here's the run, forward to 1.30 to avoid the boring crap.

I must have pushed the camera down leaning forward at the end.

And I still can't make my brain stop my right wrist backing off as it lifts in first, despite the wheelie bar.

The 65 has one of the most MENTAL power bands I've ever experienced!

It certainly gets my attention with my 95kgs on it......God knows what it's like with only 30kgs slowing it down

Good on your daughter for having a crack

One of my mates 14yr old still rides a big wheel one...

Keeps up with big bikes with ease, and can get up any hill

Awesome bikes with a light little human on them
