I learnt to drive in vauxhal viva. My first on the road car was a Suzuki swift 3 cylinder 1.0L.... ran on 40 bucks for 2weeks.

My father was ford all the way grew up with him having xD 6 cyl sedan and a xD 351 wagon. Then the next ford was an au ghia 5L wagon.

Ford's I have owned.

Prior to my BA XR6T I have only owned Commodores (a VR SS, VL Berlina and a VH SL/E).

Funny though as growing I've always remembered my father owning his XY GT but he always drove Holdens (plethora of 253 V8 HQ/J/X utes and a 2 door LX Torana) as his daily drivers.

He always told me it didnt matter where your allegiance lies as long as you buy one or the other over imports to sustain our local market.

Anything as long as its fast ......

Had a great child hood as my old boy is fairly high up at a company so it was new car time every 30,000kms for him so ive been in nearly anything australian built from new

Most appealing for its age when new = EA fairlane

Most shocking = VT Late model camira

He drove them all hard and everytime the Expensive Daewoo would show its weakness but this was only in the 6cyl-auto cause that's what he was alloud

I think it's safe to say that a majority of us wouldn't be here if ford didnt release a turbo 6

Im a Ford fan, came from my old man who had a few tough fords back in the day, XY and XB GT's. Spewing he wrote the XY off, and my mum sold the XB back in the mid 90's. Would love to have those sitting in the garage.

Had 4 Fords myself, ZL and NC fairlanes, BA XR6T and now my F6E.
