Yup even without the nicotine and just the local liquid I was off the cigs and didnt have a single craving, it changes your mindset completely imho.

Marriage will do as a temporary fix..

kids are a permanent cure..

Until maybe they are in their teens and you can introduce them to gaming..

Ask Mazda hes trying to play catchups but keeps falling further behind cause hes a busy married man with kids and im just a man with the right sorta priorities invested in games.

The other half new what she was signing up for at the beginning, I find this as the only way to get away with my addiction.

I didnt game yesterday, but I downloaded the entire mass effect 1/2/3 cutscenes made into a movie sorta thing and forced her to watch that instead.. its like 20 hours long of cutscenes lol

I was off my feet for almost a year until I had back surgery (lying down flat 24/7 - severe pain any time I got up or moved - had a fold out bed at the office so I could at least lie flat at work and be functional).

Anyway - during this time I decided I needed to keep away from gaming or else I'd just lead into a huge addiction issue once I was back on my feet (would play until after midnight most nights prior to this)

Sad part is - now, as much as I still love gaming, I've lost most of my interest in actually playing :(

I'm still excited with new releases - buy the ones I want, watch all the youtube gaming channels, keep up to date with what's coming etc, but am not finding myself actually playing the games anymore.
