Some people are just waxier than others..I get Alot of wax build up but I also wear hearing aids 14 hours of the day.. But heaps of other sh*t than wax can get in your ears to make the wax build up worse, such as small bugs etc..

Then out of nowhere it started to hurt pulling them in and out (not sure if gaining weight would change the shape of my ear canal much?) and boom, ear infection. Antibiotics and all better, then a week later started hurting again...2nd ear infection. Had a repeat script this time, so two courses of antibiotics and didn't use my headphones for a month. Cleaned the ear pieces with alcohol wipes and after a few days BOOM ear infection number 3. 2 courses of antibiotics to clear it up but now I get dry wax building up and stuff, in my right ear particularly...which I never used to get.It sucks coz I haven't used my custom IEM's for months now but I'm too scared to in case I get another infection...sucks! 1

It cleans the board pretty well and literally dries up on its on. Maybe jaycar has the stuff. I have no idea what it is called, but I know the stuff exists. Maybe the earphones needs some of the stuff. 1
