rattle guns ,couse so much damage in the wrong hands .sometimes I just put a bit of anti seize lube on the threads to protect them a bit .is that a bad idea ?

I used to use silver thread paste around the hub on most commodores and occasionally on studs that like to rust and bind

But if it doesn't need it, don't put it on, especially with new wheels as the paint cracks when you first torque the nuts and they will come off

Useless pricks!!!

I've had similar results over the years.

Is it really getting to the stage where you have to fit your own bloody tyres???

If I had the means to buy a fitter and balancer I would definitely be buying them!

My boss boasts about having the only registered supercharged t-bucket in the state (sa) and he gets all his work done at modbury so I think that's where I'm going next

^^^ But.......but that's the one I went to when it got lowered and they were great.

If you've had a bad experience there, I hink we need to discuss who I should go to next time in the SA Thread

What pi$$es me off the most is when you crawl over a drive way or ditch on a street at literally 1kmph and something still manages to scrape the ground brings me almost to tears with anger and frustration

Mate speed doesn't make your car higher or lower (fancy ass systems aside).

Kimbo... Going with speed makes for more suspension travel...

Slowing down to 1 km/h and your car still a scrapes.

It ain't the speed it's the height of your car.
