September 16, 201412 yr #4331 Oh and I booked the car into Monsta Torque for a log book service in October...went to Ford for the first 3,000 km inspection/service, but figure Rob and Darren deal with more of these sorts of cars than your average Ford dealership and I won't end up with an apprentice working on or thrashing my car.LOL, that was you that phoned? You wanted the diff oil done yeah? I was just picking up my car.
September 16, 201412 yr #4332 Yeah that was me. Why, what did Darren say? Thinks I'm a pratt? Lol Edited September 16, 201412 yr by .Stripes.
September 16, 201412 yr #4333 Haha... nah he said nothing, I left to go look at the new bits on my car. I heard him try convincing you to get a tune done lol.
September 16, 201412 yr #4334 Lol yeahhhh he reckons if I think they're a great motor now that I should feel them after being tuned! I said to him that's part of the danger of taking my car to them now, go in for a service and come out with a tune haha. What'd you get done to yours mate? How'd you find them?
September 16, 201412 yr #4335 They're fantastic, darren is a great guy and I can tell they know what they're doing.I had mine tuned to 330rwkw (BF turbo). Usual, PW stage 2 cooler (stealth black), 1000cc injectors, fuel pump, venom cat, PWR heat exchanger and the rest of their stage 1 package. Feels so much better, you actually feel it comin on boost way harder now.
September 16, 201412 yr #4336 Nice. Must feel totally different. Yeah I've always been stoked with Darren's customer service, never too busy to answer any questions you might have. Hence they get my business, albeit with log book services to begin with haha.
September 16, 201412 yr #4338 What if you only have 1 original key? :(Most key cut places can code a new key if you have a key that works on the car already. Only need one not two keys. Usually about $40 if you supply the flip key.
September 17, 201412 yr #4339 Finalised the process west surge/fuel lab pump and electronic reg install. Pump is silent at idle and ramps up to full noise as quickly as I can feed boost into the regulator. Most pleased. Just waiting on my hard-line adaptors so I can install the e85 happy filter and then it'll be happy days.
