Hey guys

Looking for some help and advice on swapping over ZF's boxs.

A good friend of mine is selling his car and has a built zf. We are planning on swapping with each other as he has taken his car back to stock.

Ive heard of people having issues with the car not being compatible with the new box.

How do we get around this? Both cars are BF's. Mine being a bf2 and his a bf1.

He has all ready sold his xcal 3 but I still have mine. Ive been told of taking my car back to stock then re uploading the tune so the box then works with the car but does this still work if its only re uploading the ecu tune? Or do I have to have a ZF tune as well?

What are our options for my mates car seeing as though he doesn't have a xcal 3 any more?

Any other advice is much appreciated.

^ 99% you just need to change over the mechatroincs over and all will be sweet, then get a tune to suit the box!

Yep have to swap the mechatronics unit.

Only other way is swapping every module in car (ecu, bem, icc, cluster, igniton barrel etc) which obviously you won't want to do

Hi there a black pipe running from my zf trans from top up my fire wall , dose this plug in to anything , is it a breather, should it be blocked off ??, I can find any where behind there where it could plug on to something,
