  1. Well there you have it, E85 and no surge = good!!!
  2. Thanks Brian, definately on my shopping list. George
  3. Not much difference in price between 1 or 2 044's or a single A1000, it will cost you alot more to rebuild your engine if it leans out due to fuel starvation. Most guys here are happy to spend the extra for the safety factor but each to there own. I really enjoy threads like this as they are entertaining and helpfull. Matty, we both knew there had to be a reason for the loss in power, you going back to Dale's?
  4. Was also looking at the Zeitronix unit, how accurate is it Brian as when I saw it on youtube it varied on the same tank. Interested to know how you find it
  5. what type of filter?
  6. Did it swell, how long since it was replaced, I change mine every second service, 15000klm
  7. Ryno, I was also under the impression that 1 044 was not enough for the switch to E85 hence my decision to purchase an A1000. When I asked Spiro he advised me to use 2 044s and at least 100lb injectors. I chose the A1000 as I only wanted 1 pump and already had the 80lb Dekas. My advice is to everyone is just use what your tuner is comfortable with as they will be tuning your car. If you cant trust them they should not be tuning your car. If anybody is worried about there setup just get your tuner to show you your injectors duty cycle and see how much you have left.
  8. Dale, your input on this or any other forum is much appreciated, your efforts today have proved to a lot of people that you are a decent genuine bloke. Go and enjoy your new born mate they grow too fast.
  9. I believe he has both Jet.
  10. Not the result I was expecting but it is what it is. You gotta give credit to Dale as he took the time out to help us forum members. Will be looking forward to the Autotech Dyno Day
  11. Nice and cool today, I'm thinking 440-450.
  12. Cool, most people see upward f 40rwkw when switching to Ethanol, mine made an extra 50
  13. Thought I read he wanted to go 456 on pump and 530 on E85, maybe he's upgraded the turbo. Niko?
  14. Guys, I have met Dale and found him to be extremely honest and helpfull. I commend him for putting the offer out there for any willing takers as this will certainly take time out of his busy day. This is not something that tuners normally do. I will be waiting for the outcome, so Dale or Matty please update us with the result as soon as it happens.
  15. Never said mine was accurate, simply stated Veva has more than me. I simply stated on the day I went 127, Veva went 129 and that my car had dyno'd at 420. If Veva's car dynos at around 450 on Dales dyno then will that be accurate? I am comfortable in saying that my car has dyno'd at 420 because I believe Spiros dyno does not inflate figures, but I have always said that dynos are just a tuning tool and MPH is a true indication of power. I'm sure there are enough posts of ET's, MPH and RWKW readings that you can get rough idea of how much power it takes to get a certain MPH. Just remember ZF cars will show higher MPH than BTR cars and Manuals will show less MPH again.
  16. Veva went faster on the 044 because it was cooler, I can definatley say that now that the weather has cooled Matt will be in the 130+ region again. There are alot of variables but Glouva went 135 so that speaks for itself, definatley over 350rwkw, I would not argue with the claimed 457 as to me that seems right if not on the conservative side.
  17. I'm with Ryno, Same night I went 127MPH Veva went 129MPH (was hot that night), mine has dyno'd at 420 rwkw Vevas has more, MPH does not lie.
  18. This is getting interesting. MPH is the true indicator of power but I'm pretty sure Veva will go mid 400 at least on Dales dyno.
  19. I tend to agree with Mr_4.0, My avg consumption has not changed even when switching to E85, the klms I get out of a full tank has gone down but avg consumption and klms to empty has not changed, and we're talking a 100klm difference
  20. You can collect your money as you leave, I know it sux but what can u do, it happened to me 3 weeks in a row.
  21. Very Impressive time and congrats on an easy 10. How much boost did you leave the line with to get a 1.6? Also what was the ambient temp?
  22. Torque gets you off the line, power keeps you going and by the looking at the dyno sheet I can certainly see you have enough of both. I love how it keeps making power, even at 180 klms. Change your sig to 480rwkw+++++++++++......lol
  23. Congrats Danny and very well deserved, as said above put thems taller tyres on.
  24. Going in on Monday, not sure if it needs the rear cv, if it doesn't then it will be $550
  25. Will be leaving it for 10000 this time and I'll see how it looks, Amsoil recommend 15000 miles or 1 yr
