  1. Bob Drive Shaft in Granville quoted me $880 for a new ZF rubber coupling, new centre bearing and rear tailshaft cv. Drive in drive out.
  2. From what I've read Mobil 1 is not as good as it once was, I use Amsoil, expensive but you get what you pay for. I change my oil at 7500 and I cry when I drain it as it still looks like I can get another 7500 out of it.
  3. Just run it down to the Empty line and fill up with 98, a couple of litres will not hurt. Pretty easy doing it that way as there are plenty of servos that sell 98, it's doing it the other way that requires a bit of planning to get to the servo with only a couple of litres left
  4. Thanks Mick, I always value opinions and answers from people like yourself. Have been using eflex for over 6 months now and will be doing a United tune soon so I will see how they go with the higher ethanol content.
  5. Mick, Spiro has tuned my car for E85, we have no idle issues using 80lbs dekas and car starts fine at 4am when it's 8-10 deg outside, is there something he is doing that others aren't or is it a case of they work just not as good? This injector was not Spiros choice, I had them already and he said that they will be fine.
  6. Shaun, I have been there 3 times for warranty purposes and never had a single problem.
  7. I Second psychotiq, not all Ford are bad, had plenty of issues with Macarthur Ford but since have gone to Sinclair Ford if I needed anything specifically from ford and they have been great.
  8. So at what point would you need to run 2?, as there are a few people that run 2 for E85
  9. Bit busy with work at the moment but will be going out as soon as soon as I can
  10. I thought 1 044 would not be enough for E85 hence why most go with 2 044s or a larger type, can this be confirmed?
  11. Had a mate pick it up for me.
  12. Go out twice!!!!
  13. Yes mate manually changing at about 5200 rpm I think manually changing close to the redline can increase the risk of hitting the rev limiter which as we know is no good for the oil pump gears, doing a burnout in Drive will do the job fine.
  14. It has been tested by various members for a while now and the United tests from 85 - 90% and is pretty consistant. I use E-Flex purely because I use my car as a daily and there are a couple of Caltex Flex Servos on my way to work. I have tested the E-Flex about 10 times and always find it to be 70-72%. I will be getting a United tune done shortly so that way I have both. This fuel is awesome and once you tune your car with it you will find it very hard to go back to 98.
  15. Bought mine direct from Motospecs, $520 for a 20L.
  16. Being an F6 you may get away with just the footbrake, if the footbrake cant hold it and you start to creep forward you need to use the handbrake aswell. If you have a boost gauge use that as your guide. 1. Traction Control off. 2. Burnout in D, get some decent heat into the MT's. 3. Select 1st, stage and stall to 5psi and then let her rip. You can increase boost off the line as you go and the track will only get better as more rubber is layed.
  17. How much boost do you leave the line with?
  18. Pretty sure I paid $520 for a 20L drum
  19. Agreed, ETs and converter should have netted him a 1.6-1.7, if I can recall the best he managed on the night was 2.0
  20. Not too worried about power as your convertor will rob you of some power on the dyno, just wanna see the power curve.
  21. Taller gearing will allow you to keep accelerating before you reach the finish line. Do you mind posting up your dyno sheet as I think with the power you have your MPH should be higher, at least 120-122.
  22. Has anyone used Bob Drive Shafts in Granville?
  23. Motospecs
  24. Car 1, cause that's what I ran last time out !!!
